James Handy was a veteran American actor, who had memorable roles in major films like Top Gun: Maverick, Jumanji, and Logan. Handy died at 81, after he was stabbed in the chest by his girlfriend's son.At around 9:30 a.m. on June 3, the LAPD responded o a cryptic call in Tarzana which said,"I am the son of man, I just killed the man of sin."The police authorities discovered Handy's body in the front yard of the residence suffering from multiple stab wounds on the chest. Handy was then transported him a local hospital via ambulance, where he was announced dead.The suspect, 44-year old Michael Gledhill also spoke to police at the scene. A police statement read,"The suspect flagged down nearby responding officers, telling them he was the one they were looking for. The suspect resides at the location with his mother, who is the victim's girlfriend."Gledhill was then arrested and taken to the Van Nuys jail, where he was booked for one count of murder. As per the LA Times, Gledhill's bail is set at $2 million.
