Days after Eric Dane died at the age of 53 after a fight with ALS, filmmaker and photographer Janell Shirtcliff broke her silence by posting a moving remembrance on social media. It included Dane wearing sunglasses as he smiled next to a palm tree, another was of Dane giving Shirtcliff a kiss on the head, then another of the two of them in a golf cart together, a black and white photo of Dane laughing, a candid image of Dane getting a tattoo, and finally a picture of Dane wearing a cowboy hat and smiling next to a horse. Additionally, she posted video clips of them riding together and Dane with a young girl.
