Selling Sunset producer-star Jason Oppenheim and girlfriend Jessica Vargas split up recently.

The couple ended their 13-month relationship on Sunday. This happened the day after they attended the nuptials of Saskia Iha at the Halekulani Hotel in Honolulu.

Jessica is a realtor associate at The Oppenheim Group. As per her bio on The Oppenheim Group website, she is a first-generation Latina and Los Angeles native. Jessica has lived in several neighborhoods throughout her life, which helped her gain an intimate knowledge of local communities.

Her bio also mentions that she has more than 10 years of experience. She represents clients from all over the L.A. area. These areas include the Valley, West Hollywood, Malibu, Beverly Hills, and beyond.

Jason Oppenheim, now 48 years old, is 25 years older than the real estate agent. Jessica Vargas confirmed the breakup to the Daily Mail on Sunday.

"Yes, we broke up almost two weeks ago. We wanted a chance to speak with friends and family before going public with the news," she said.

The couple shared brief statements with a photo of themselves on Instagram Stories announcing their breakup.

"We're no longer boyfriend and girlfriend... but still love each other and still best friends," Oppenheim shared.

Jessica Vargas then reposted and added her own message.

"Love you J& may this type of friendship find us all," she said.

Jason Oppenheim and Jessica Vargas confirmed their breakup on Feb. 15. The former couple was in Hawaii together to attend a wedding.

Oppenheim told People Magazine about Jessica Vargas.

"Jessica is the most beautiful woman I've ever met, inside and out, and while we won't be husband and wife, we will be best friends. Having her in my life is what matters most," Oppenheim shared.

Jessica Vargas echoed what Jason Oppenheim said.

"Jason and I have a lot of love for each other, and that's not going anywhere. The best outcome for us is staying close and remaining in each other's lives as best friends," Vargas told People.

She added her thoughts about the Selling Sunset star.

"He's truly a gem of a human with the biggest heart, and I'm grateful for him," she said.

As per a report shared by People Magazine, Oppenheim and Vargas confirmed their romance in April 2025, making their red carpet debut at the Los Angeles premiere of The Accountant 2. They went Instagram official a week later.

Jessica Vargas shared several photos with Oppenheim on April 21. A snap showed the reality star holding her from behind while they posed in front of mountains. A picture showed the pair watching TV at home. One showed them on a boat surrounded by friends and co-workers.

She captioned the post:

"Lately with us. A few favorites from the camera roll and @jasonoppenheim bday extravaganza."

Oppenheim reciprocated the love in the comments section.

"Baby, love these!" he wrote.

And added three red hearts of his own. Oppenheim's ex, Chrishell Stause, gave the then-new romance her seal of approval when she liked the post.

Jason Oppenheim has had several relationships during his time in the public eye. This included his romance with Chrishell Stause. He dated her for 10 months in 2021. She was also his co-worker at the time.

Their relationship started as a friendship. The realtors took the next step in early 2021. They confirmed that they were an item in July.

"Chrishell and I became close friends and it has developed into an amazing relationship. I care about her deeply and we are very happy together," Oppenheim told People at the time.

The couple announced their separation in December. Oppenheim and Stause each released their own statements on Instagram addressing their split.

The statements explained that their decision to break up wasn't because they didn't love one another. It was because of their differing plans for the future. Stause wanted children sooner rather than later. Oppenheim didn't want to start a family right away.

Oppenheim wrote about the split.

"While Chrishell and I are no longer together, we remain best friends and we will always love and support one another. She was the most amazing girlfriend I've ever had, and it was the happiest and most fulfilling relationship of my life," he said.

He continued with more thoughts.

"While we have different wants regarding a family, we continue to have the utmost respect for one another. Chrishell is an exceptional human being and loving her and having her in my life is one of the best things that has ever happened to me," Oppenheim shared.
