According to recent news reports, John Cusack's sister Joan Cusack made a rare red carpet appearence after an 11 year long hiatus.

Dressed up neatly in a white buttoned-up shirt and a long high-waist black skirt, Joan was spotted at the London premiere of her new movie Toy Story 5. The venue of the red carpet event was the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square.

Along with Joan, actor John Cusack has three more siblings named Ann, Bill and Susie. Each sibling achieved success in the performing arts after beginning their careers in theater while growing up in Chicago. Since her breakthrough performance in A League of Their Own, Ann Cusack has appeared in movies such as Multiplicity and Sully.

In the meantime, Joan starred in beloved films including Toy Story, School of Rock, and The Addams Family Values. She won an Emmy for her performance on Shameless and received Oscar nominations for her appearances in Working Girl and On & Out.

Richard "Dick" and Nancy Cusack, the siblings' parents, were married in 1960 and initially resided in New York.

The couple's first three children were born in the Empire State: Ann in 1961, Joan in 1962, and Bill at some point in 1964.

After that, the family relocated to the Chicago neighborhood of Evanston, Illinois, where John was born in 1966. Susie joined the family in 1971.

When Joan and her father got their first movie roles in the 1980 picture My Bodyguard, Joan was still a high school student. Three years later, Joan played alongside John in the dramedy Class, which marked John's film debut.

Ann didn't get a part until years later, but it was a significant one: her first appearance was in the iconic sports drama A League of Their Own from 1992.

John and Joan shared the screen when John's Hollywood career took off in the 1980s. Later, they included their younger sister Susie and brother Bill. Con Air, Hero, and High Fidelity were among the projects in which the group collaborated.
