Fabio Jackson, the viral Michael Jackson impersonator, has hinted at legal action against fellow lookalike Looze Cannon, as the two performers' feud intensifies.

Speaking outside the Michael D. Antonovich Antelope Valley Courthouse in Los Angeles, Fabio accused Cannon's online moderators of harassment and said that the fellow impostor kept talking about him for attention. However, it remained unclear whether Fabio had filed a legal complaint or who the proposed lawsuit would target.

The disagreement arose after Fabio accused Cannon of using artificial intelligence (AI) face and voice filters to portray the King of Pop. Cannon has categorically disputed the allegations, claiming that his appearance and performances are genuine.

While the debate continues, Cannon's TikTok fame has skyrocketed, with his Michael Jackson impersonations and freestyle performances gaining millions of followers and attracting the attention of various celebrities.

Who is Looze Cannon, the Michael Jackson impersonator?

Looze Cannon, whose real name is Glen Cannon, is a Detroit-based musician, producer, DJ, comedian, and entertainer. He has been using the name Looze Cannon since at least 2010, and he previously garnered popularity on the livestreaming website BIGO Live, where he performed as "Bigo Jackson."

Before his recent TikTok success, Cannon worked as a tour guide at the Motown Museum. His internet content incorporates comedy, musical performances, freestyle rap, and impressions, most notably his impersonation of Michael Jackson.

Cannon's popularity skyrocketed after his videos became widely shared on social media. Last month, he crossed one million TikTok followers, purportedly in just three weeks.

He celebrated the achievement with a livestream in which he alternated between his regular persona and his Michael Jackson character while rapping to Mobb Deep's Shook Ones Pt. II. The performance reportedly drew over 70,000 views.

Cannon has also released his debut single, Big Michael Michael, which was originally available as a $1.99 direct download from StreetNoise Merch. His official website identifies him as a recording artist, content creator, music producer, DJ, and actor.

Why did they feud, and did Fabio Jackson take any legal action against Looze Cannon?

The feud between the two Michael Jackson impersonators became public last month, with both men criticizing each other's performances.

Fabio stated that Cannon used AI-powered facial and vocal filters to make his impersonation seem and sound more like Michael Jackson. In clips discussed on the Club Ambition Podcast, Fabio stated that Cannon approached him first, and he responded with a video.

Fabio commented on Cannon's performances, alleging that the impersonator relies on AI. He also called him "trash," and stated he didn't want anything to do with him.

Cannon denied the charges, stating that he did not use AI to create his appearance or performances:

"I don't got no AI. This is all me."

Music producer Timbaland also weighed in on the controversy, sharing a video of Cannon performing without the Michael Jackson filter. Timbaland praised his skills, stating:

"TALENT IS TALENT!!!!!!!!!! AI or no AI, @loozecannon1 got it period!!!"

Timbo also encouraged folks to enjoy the performance and hinted that more was coming.

Fabio's latest comments outside the Los Angeles courthouse raised concerns about whether the feud may extend beyond social media. In a video released by TMZ on November 5, Fabio accused Cannon's moderators of harassment and stated why he thought the other impostor was still addressing him. Fabio replied:

“I’m just minding my own business, and he keeps talking about me. I don’t know why. I think it’s for views.”

However, the circumstances surrounding his court appearance remain unclear. The available information did not specify whether Fabio had filed any legal documents, whether he wanted to pursue a lawsuit, or whether the proposed action was aimed against Cannon or his moderators.

An internet search of Los Angeles Superior Court records apparently revealed no filings under Fabio's real name, Fabio James, at the time of publication. Fabio has also announced his departure from TikTok's creator program, with plans to broadcast technology and unboxing videos on YouTube.

Looze Cannon's popularity continues to grow

Despite the controversy, Cannon's online popularity and celebrity recognition continue to grow.

Comedian Tiffany Haddish was apparently the first celebrity to participate in one of his livestreams, followed by Snoop Dogg and Timbaland. Other celebrities and musicians, notably Cordae, have praised his freestyle skills.

Cannon's rising popularity was emphasized during a TikTok Live clash with broadcaster Kai Cenat. While Cannon sang over a beat and Cenat danced alongside him, the Michael Jackson lookalike garnered more likes and donations throughout the battle.

In a TMZ interview on October 19, Cannon joked that he had "real beef in these streets" with other King of Pop impersonators. Meanwhile, Fabio's last courthouse appearance has reignited their feud; however, it is unclear whether the disagreement will lead to actual legal action.
