On September 13, 2026, Chris Rock's daughter Zahra Rock discussed working with her father on his film Misty Green when the comedian stepped into her exclusive interview at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The conversation took place at the world premiere of the A24 satirical drama, which is scheduled for release on October 9. E! News first reported the exchange.

Zahra Savannah Rock was born on May 22, 2004, and is 22-years-old. She made her on-screen debut earlier in 2026 in the comedy Roommates. She has since appeared in her father's project, Misty Green, and was also cast in Grown Ups 3.

Zahra told E! News that working with her father went well after some initial hesitation. She said:

"He was great. I was a little bit worried about it at first because he's my dad. I didn't know how it was gonna go, but it was a great set. I had an amazing time."

Chris Rock, who wrote and directed Misty Green, then joined the interview and praised her work. He said:

"It was amazing. It was incredible. I just saw an actress, and later on that day, she took off her mask and told me it was her."

He also said he is "extremely proud" of her. The same week, he confirmed to Variety that she would appear in Grown Ups 3, which is currently in production. He said:

"It's weird, my kids kind of grew up on those sets, and now my daughter Zahra's actually going to be in the new one. Yeah, just great times."

He added that filming on Grown Ups 3 was going well.
