A deposition tied to the production of It Ends With Us is drawing new scrutiny after a member of Blake Lively's team described an interaction with Justin Baldoni that left him unsettled.
Kevin Alexander, the actress's driver, recounts a "disturbing" conversation between the IEWU pair inside the car, in a deposition recently obtained by Us Weekly.
"[Justin Baldoni] was discussing his sexual relations with women."

The driver added that the interaction "took his focus off driving," and that it was something he "can't forget" due to the subject of Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni's back-and-forth.
Alexander went on, revealing that the 42-year-old actor-director claimed that "he was forced on and he forced himself on women."
"To me, it was very out of the ordinary to meet somebody and talk like that in a vehicle. That's why it caught my attention. Basically, he kept talking about his sexual relations. I'm repeating myself I believe, but he would force himself on women. If they said, 'No, this, that,' he would revert back [to that topic]."
Blake Lively's employee teased that there was "more stuff" discussed by the pair, but he revealed in the deposition the "key points." He added that he let the Gossip Girl star know his feelings on what had just transpired after reaching their destination.
"When we got to the production office, which was down the road from that area, I pulled over, let everybody out. I stated to Blake, 'I feel very uncomfortable. Something is not right here. I would like to do a background check on him or something.'"
Blake Lively and Taylor Swift question Justin Baldoni's song choice for It Ends With Us
In December 2024, Blake Lively filed a complaint against Justin Baldoni with the California Civil Rights Department, alleging sexual harassment. Later on, she filed a formal lawsuit in New York.
The actor then filed a $400 million countersuit against the actress, accusing her and her team of "creative hijacking" and defamation. It was later dismissed.
In January 2026, new developments surrounding the Lively-Baldoni case were revealed, exposing contentious text exchanges as well as communication with Taylor Swift.

Per the newly unsealed court documents, Blake Lively allegedly asked the pop singer to endorse her IEWU revision in April 2023, without even reading it. The Fate of Ophelia was reportedly supportive of the move, and the two proceeded to blast Justin Baldoni in their texts.
Taylor Swift, according to the filing, endorsed the revised script during a meeting with the Con Man star at the actress's apartment. Later on, Blake Lively sent the songstress a text:
"You were so epically heroic today. I recapped every moment to Ryan [Reynolds]. I kept remembering stuff. You making s**t up about me and lenses. And referring to yourself as my doll. This clown falling for all of it. But also resisting it. You are the worlds absolute greatest friend ever."

At one point in their conversation, Taylor Swift allegedly deemed Justin Baldoni as not being "strategic" in using her track My Tears Ricochet in the book-to-movie adaptation. The court documents state:
"In April 26, 2024 messages, Lively and Swift discussed a plan to use Swift's song in the film's trailer. Swift wrote: 'If Justin was strategic he would be like no Taylor Swift in the trailer because that gives you more power over the film, that's your ally not his.'"
The docs continued:
"Lively responded: 'You are so right… He should've run from your music… How stupid. This was his only shot at having the appearance of an upper hand.'"
