Bryan Seaver, nephew-turned-head of security of the late Queen of Country music Dolly Parton, who was in legal conflict with the Hello God singer's estate, has heaved a sigh of relief after Parton's estate dropped its lawsuit against him.
According to People, following her unfortunate passing in August 2026, Dolly Parton's manager Danny Nozell, who is responsible for She's Alive LLC, through which her estate is managed and run, filed a lawsuit against Bryan Seaver after he was reportedly fired from his position in September 2026 for multiple reasons, including demanding money and threatening to ruin Parton's business partnerships unless he was financially compensated.
Bryan Seaver also reportedly made disturbing statements toward employees of the Dolly Parton estate, its lawyers, and the estate's business partners, leading many staff members to quit out of fear and disrupting business operations.
According to People, Parton's company, She's Alive, which manages all her businesses, withdrew the lawsuit against Bryan Seaver in Tennessee's Chancery Court on November 5, 2026. However, as cited by TMZ, Seaver's lawyer said regarding the matter:
"Mr. Seaver cares deeply about his Aunt Dolly, her music, her family, and the incredible legacy she left behind."
While mentioning how Bryan has protected Parton as her head of security for over two decades, his lawyer added:
"He has made a career out of protecting his aunt while she was alive and remains committed to Dolly and his entire family. Mr. Seaver is grateful to put this misunderstanding behind him so that the entire family can continue to grieve peacefully and ensure that the bright light of Dolly’s legacy remains entirely untouched."
While Bryan Seaver denied the allegation of threatening Parton's estate's staff members and others, in his October 13 court filing, he noted:
"I care about Ms. Parton, her music, her legacy, and her family. I do not want this dispute to harm her legacy."
Dolly Parton's nephew Bryan Seaver shares his mother's message about him

According to People, amid the legal conflict with Dolly Parton's estate, Bryan Seaver's mother, Cassie, who is the Rockin' Years singer's younger sister, wrote a long message regarding Bryan and her sister. Bryan took to his Facebook page on October 26, 2026, and shared the message, which read:
"In recent weeks, I have been asked to make a public statement concerning my son, Bryan Seaver. While I have struggled with the thought of speaking publicly during such a painful and personal time, I feel it is important that I share what is in my heart—not to address disagreements or disputes, but simply to speak as a mother who dearly loves her son."
While Cassie mentioned how Bryan and Dolly shared a meaningful relationship, she added:
"I recognize that we are living through circumstances involving deeply personal matters, differing perspectives, and issues that deserve to be addressed thoughtfully, respectfully, and through the appropriate channels. My love for my son does not require me to publicly judge others, take sides in disagreements, or speak about matters that I may not fully understand. Nor should my silence on any particular issue ever be mistaken for a lack of love or concern for my child."
