Reacher actor Alan Ritchson's neighbor opens up about why he did not pursue legal charges against him after the alleged assault.

Alan Ritchson's neighbor, Ronnie Taylor, who was beaten up by the actor in a released video, spoke about why he made the decision not to take Ritchson to court. He explained to TMZ:
"I was only interested in the safety of my neighborhood because he was racing through the neighborhood. He’s a Hollywood superstar and I’m not. He’s got lawyers. I didn’t even lawyer up."
Both parties dropped charges, but according to the authorities, what Alan did is counted as self-defence.
"Police told me standing in front of him and his bike was enough for the claim of self-defense. I never took a swing at the guy. I pushed him — that’s all I did. I think that also had something to do with the self-defense.”
Ronnie also walked away without taking any kind of compensation.
The incident unfolded when the video was released on Monday. According to Taylor, Alan Ritchson had allegedly sped his green Kawasaki bike through their neighborhood and out of concern for their neighbors and children, the following day, Ronnie walked up in front of Alan's bike, blocking his way, saying:
“You got to stop. Someone’s going to get hurt.”
That is when the situation suddenly escalated.
Ronnie explained, "I did push him because he was coming toward me on his bike" adding that Ritchson “got off his bike, and he kicked the crap out of me. He hit me in the back of my head [and] I went to the ground and covered myself.”
The video shows Ritchson in a white shirt allegedly beating and kicking his neighbor, who got major injuries on his face.
