On July 6, Andrew Kolvet reignited a feud with Candace Owens and challenged her claims of friendship with Charlie Kirk. The TPUSA spokesman reacted to Candace’s tweet, which she shared shortly before the pretrial of the murder suspect in Charlie Kirk’s assassination, Tyler Robinson. The political commentator posted a picture of herself standing next to the late political activist, with the caption‘we will win.’Andrew Kolvet reshared her tweet claiming that Candace and Charlie were not friends. He added that Charlie managed her. Further, Kolvet demanded proof of ‘genuine’ friendship from Candace Owens. He asked her to show some recent evidence of her bond with Charlie instead of showing messages from 2018.“Candace, you and Charlie were not friends. He managed you. He kept things light and polite so you wouldn’t turn on the org. Show me any proof of genuine friendship from the last 12 months of his life? From the last 18 months? From the last 24 months? Not some 2018 text. Something recent.” Andrew Kolvet said.He accused Candace Owens of causing Charlie anxiety by asking him to speak at TPUSA events. For those who don't know, the female political commentator earlier worked with Charlie’s organization, Turning Point USA.Kolvet also claimed that Kirk told him to protect the company from Owens.“You gave him anxiety whenever you called or texted asking (demanding) to speak at our events. He made me or Justin deal with you and George. This is why when you tried to hire me in Feb 2024 for PR I agreed to go along with it against my better judgment, because Charlie asked me to keep you close and protect the org from you. (The publicist I tried to hire to run point prayed about it and felt the Lord told her a firm no, and so, I ultimately declined).” Andrew added.Lastly, Andrew referred to Candace as ‘tormenter’ and ‘fraud,’ accusing her of harassing Charlie and now his wife, Erika Kirk.“This is your central, foundational lie. You were not his friend. You are not his defender. You were his tormenter. And now you torment his wife and the organization he built. She came out with several theories and hinted at some larger conspiracy behind his assassination.
