She fled Somalia after a civil war and spent four years in a refugee camp in Kenya. She arrived in the US at age 12 in 1995 and became a naturalized citizen five years later. However, there have been allegations raised against her about potential immigration violations, conspiracy, and providing false answers. Amidst this, Omar shared a post on X on Friday, October 23, of her walking around with her husband, Tim Mynett. She wrote in the caption:"Less scrolling, more strolling. Enjoying our beautiful Minnesota lakes."Conservative political commentator and activist Laura Loomer quoted this post and wrote:"'Less scrolling' as I take scripted pictures with my non-brother white husband and then post it to African music. Ilhan is getting so desperate. You love to see it."Laura Loomer has slammed Omar multiple times on X in recent months, especially after the investigation surfaced. She also mentioned her alongside Abdul El-Sayed ahead of the midterm elections on her podcast on Thursday and said:"We are fighting for the SURVIVAL of our country to prevent Islamo-communists masquerading as moderates from taking over Congress...""If we lose the House and Senate to the Democrats, it is highly likely Abdul El-Sayed will leak national security secrets to the Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah, and Iran, and Ilhan Omar will never have to explain her $30 MILLION net worth on a $180,000 salary and she will never be held accountable for marrying her brother," she added.Loomer urged people to vote for the Republican candidates in the midterm elections instead of the likes of Abdul El-Sayed.
