David Harbour is reflecting on Millie Bobby Brown controversy from last year. Daily Mail UK last year published a tabloid story which alleged that Brown had filed "pages and pages" of claims against her 51-year old Stranger Things' co-star. As per the outlet, Brown had filed the claims before production started on Netflix hit's final season. In an interview with Variety published on June 10, Harbour said that he had a breakdown after the tabloids went viral. The timing of the tabloid coming out coincided with Harbour's ex Lily Allen releasing her album West End Girl, in which she criticized the actor. While reflecting on his scuffle with Millie Bobby Brown, the actor said,"It's a show that went on for 10 years. We worked together for 10 years during her formative teenage years, playing father and daughter. I don’t know if people have families and friends that you spend a lot of time with for 10 years, you occasionally get in arguments, disagreements."Harbour added,"In families, it’s OK because you’re just in a disagreement and then you come back together. The problem with a billion-dollar show is that there’s just hundreds of people who want to get involved."Despite the rift, David Harbour mentioned that the audience will see them together on stage again, and that they are working on several projects. He mentioned that they have a "special bond" and that they both love each other.
