The Swindle actress-turned-pop star, Ariana Grande, has once again caught the attention of her fans and netizens after she slammed the Donald Trump administration for using her hit track We Can't Be Friends (Wait For Your Love) in an anti-trans post on TikTok, which was shared from the Team Trump handle on August 20, 2026.

According to Variety, in the anti-trans TikTok video shared on the Team Trump account, President Trump is seen walking towards a podium with a text written at the top of the video that read:

"Me and my truth we sit in silence… Men can’t have babies and should never compete in women’s sports."

The TikTok post, which made Ariana Grande react, was shared with a caption that read:

"This shouldn’t be controversial! #trump #arianagrande #maga."

The Side to Side singer, Ariana Grande, 33, who is a part of John Hamburg's upcoming Ben Stiller-starrer comedy flick Focker-In-Law, was quick enough to take to the comments section of the Team Trump TikTok post for using her 2024 popular song. Grande wrote:

"Never use my music again. Also, your truth is false."

Interestingly, while this was not the first time the Trump administration had used her songs in its social media posts, in June 2026, a version of her song, Bye, was used in a White House post shared on TikTok. The video shared on TikTok showed ICE agents arresting people. The Love Me Harder hitmaker, Grande, took to the comments section of the post and wrote:

"Please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense. Fck ice."
