Broadcast journalist and political commentator Anderson Cooper appeared on his eponymous CNN show and mocked Donald Trump as a “derriere aficionado” in reference to the U.S. President’s recent remarks about the male physiques of Republican candidates in the midterm election.

Cooper, 59, compared Trump to the Seinfeld character Kramer, who once had a license plate reading, “A**MAN” and called the POTUS “a**man-in-chief.”

“Big news for Kramer tonight: He is no longer New York’s most famous a** man.”

Anderson Cooper then rolled a clip of Donald Trump complimenting Senator Jon Husted’s buttocks and legs. The former 60 Minutes correspondent added:

“There’s nothing at all unusual – and certainly nothing gay – about a president who dances daily to ‘YMCA’ and who publicly pined for a reprise of Betty Buckley in ‘Cats.’”

Elsewhere, Cooper ridiculed Trump by saying “the beauty of male form” was not a “forbidden fruit” for him.

Exploring Donald Trump’s recent remarks about male bodies

Earlier this month, Donald Trump was campaigning for Ohio Senator Jon Husted when he stood on the podium and stated:

“I watched his body. I looked up and down… I never did that with a man before. I examined his a**, and then I looked at his shoulders, his feet. I looked at his hand. I looked at his jawline. Studied him. He’s got a jawline. His a**, sh*t, it’s like, it’s like a pile of muscle.”

Trump later insisted that his compliments helped Husted “pick up like 9 or 10 points” in the polls.

Trump also said of Kentucky representative Ed Gallrein:

“This guy walks through the door of the Oval Office and I say, ‘Look at this beautiful guy.’ That guy is central casting.”

The POTUS also called Georgia Senate candidate Mike Collins a “good-looking man” and “he’s all-man,” and billionaire politician Rick Jackson a “very handsome, distinguished, beautiful-looking guy.”

Georgia state senator Greg Dolezal also received a similar compliment from Donald Trump, who described him as a “good-looking guy,” before adding:

“You can’t say that about men or women anymore. That’s the end of your political career.”

Trump also extended similar compliments to Montana Senator Tim Sheehy.

“I wish Tim didn’t look that good. Tim is a very handsome guy. I don’t like handsome guys,” he joked.

During his Oklahoma campaign, Donald Trump said that he was unable to miss “big, strong, handsome Oklahoma studs.”

The U.S. President also complimented the looks of sportsmen, including New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart and Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker.

“It usually is not my thing. But he is a good-looking sucker,” Trump said of Butker in the White House, as the latter smiled.

About late golfer Arnold Palmer, Trump claimed other men complimented Palmer’s body after they “came out of the showers.” He also said South Carolina politician Darline Graham has a “handsome” and “good-looking” husband. Republican Senator Tim Scott was also at the receiving end of Trump’s compliments.

“As much as I can fall in love with a man ― which isn’t that much ― I fall in love with him. And his name happens to be Tim Scott,” the POTUS stated.

Last month, Donald Trump campaigned for Ken Paxton in Dallas, Texas, and said that he “may not be the best-looking guy I’ve ever seen” before apologizing and urging Texans to vote for him.

During a recent episode of Anderson Cooper 360°, the host mocked the POTUS by saying:

“When you are a man’s man, you can do and say it all.”

Cooper also played the clip of Trump mispronouncing his name as “Allison Cooper” and calling out CNN for its “fake news.”

According to MS NOW, Donald Trump has complimented other men in the past for their looks, including former Vice President Mike Pence, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
