Obsession's Inde Navarrette is ready to suit up for the Marvel Cinematic Universe if the opportunity comes. Navarrette recently appeared in the hit horror film Obsession as Nikki, a fun girl getting caught up in Bear's wish and having her body taken over by another entity for much of the story, before finally returning to herself in the end.

Created and written by Curry Barker, the film stars Inde Navarrette as Nikki, Michael Johnston as Bear, Cooper Tomlinson as Ian, and Megan Lawless as Sarah. Following the success of the film, Navarrette gained fame and popularity.

In a recent interview with Nylon, Navarrette shared her interest in joining Marvel, revealing that she recently met with Jake Schreier. She also named him among the directors she'd like to work with, alongside Greta Gerwig, Ryan Coogler, and Michael Mann.

Jake Schreier is a big name in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, famous for directing Thunderbolts*. He is currently working on an X-Men reboot, which is under pre-production.

During the interview, Inde Navarrette revealed meeting director Jake Schreier. When asked if she would like to work on a Marvel film, she says she would. However, she didn't reveal what the meeting was about or whether it was regarding any audition for Marvel.

The actress also revealed getting different types of auditions after Obsession became a hit and mentioned Atomic Blonde and Fourth Wing as her dream projects. Navarrette previously appeared on Superman and Lois, Wander Darkly, and 13 Reasons Why. According to IMDb, she has one project linked up titled Invertigo, which is currently under post-production.

As for Jake Schreier's upcoming X-Men film, the production has yet to announce the complete cast. However, fans have already started speculating that Harris Dickinson, Julia Butters, Sadie Sink, and Taron Egerton might be joining the new film. However, it's not confirmed by the production as of now.

While there are talks of Obsession star Inde Navarrette joining Marvel, it's hard to say right now whether she will be starring in the upcoming X-Men reboot directed by Jake Schreier.

During the Nylon interview, she showed excitement about her upcoming projects, adding that she wants to prove Obsession wasn't just a one-time success and hoped that people trust her acting over time. She further added that she is open to trying different roles, even though some don't work as part of her growth.

Navarrette's role in Obsession was praised for her performance, especially her screaming and shouting scenes and the walking-backwards scene that really caught the audience on the edge. Another scene that was praised by the fans was when she was seen standing and watching Bear in the middle of the night. As a result of her growing popularity, the actress was also seen on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Collider Ladies Night.

Marvel often looks for rising stars who bring both talent and growing popularity, and Inde Navarrette seems to be fitting that profile. For now, fans will have to wait for any official update from either Navarrette or Marvel, as no confirmation has been made about her possible involvement.
