Over Your Dead Body cast: Here’s who appeared in the action movie

Over Your Dead Body is releasing on Amazon Prime on June 10 this year and those who still haven't watched this film in theaters can tune into Prime Video next month and start watching. The movie stars Jason Segel as Dan Burton and Timothy Olyphant in the role of Pete.

The story is about a distorted marriage of Lisa and Dan whos relationship takes an unexpected turn when they visit an old cabin in the woods with the hope of fixing their problems. However, things don't go according to plan.

A twist comes in the plot when both of them put their fights aside and work together for their survival, eventually making a plan to escape. They end up killing one of the convicts and the trauma of the incident brings back the spark in their broken relationship, helping them to reconnect.

Jason Segal plays a downtrodden commercial film director and the husband of Lisa. He drags his wife to a remote cabin to fix their marriage issues but secretly plans to kill her for the collection of an insurance payout.

Segal has worked in several acclaimed and commercially successful comedy films including Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Knocked Up, The Five-Year Engagement, and Bad Teacher. His voice role in Despicable Me is one of his prominent projects.

In Over Your Dead Body, Lisa is a struggling actress waiting for her big break. She plans to murder her husband to cash in on a massive life insurance. When escaped prisoners ruin their weekend, she drops her normal self fast and turns out tough by using daily things as weapons without a second thought.

Samara is known as the 'Scream Queen' for her breakout performances in The Babysitter, Ready or Not, and Scream VI. She also won an FCCA Award for best acting in Bad Girl.

Timothy Olyphant as Pete

Timothy plays Pete in Over Your Dead Body. His character completely derails the couple's domestic dispute. In the movie, he appears as a charming person but an escaped convict who was already squatting in the remote cabin when Dan and Lisa arrived. People love him for his cuteness.

In Over Your Dead Body, Juliette plays the character of Allegra, a quirky security detail worker at the prison who madly falls in love with one of the inmates and becomes determined to break him out.

The actress is popular for playing leading roles in films like What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Cape Fear, and Natural Born Killers. She has also worked in From Dusk Till Dawn, Strange Days, and Kalifornia.

Juliette earned an Academy Award nomination for her streak in Cape Fear (1991) and two Primetime Emmy nominations for Hysterical Blindness (2002) and Welcome to Chippendales (2022).
