American commentator David Pakman reportedly played a video of Donald Trump patting his right leg with his right hand and sometimes tapping a plane railing with his left arm while attending the Republican National Committee Midterm Convention at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

The clip went viral online, and people are now asking about Trump's neurological health amid concerns about his physical condition. Dr. Sean Barbabella has already stated that he is in excellent health. The BBC reported that the president underwent neurological tests that checked his mental status, motor functions, nerves, reflexes, and sensory functions. The results showed no evidence of depression or anxiety.

However, Pakman explained that Trump's symptoms could be a physical signal. He said there are physical therapy techniques where a person can use a touch-based cue to help start or guide a movement. He added that when people experience motor problems or certain neurological problems, they can sometimes learn ways to manage them.

Pakman reportedly pointed out something unusual about a neurological issue in Trump by playing a video of him arriving by plane for the Republican National Committee Midterm Convention at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. As the president stepped off the plane, he moved toward the stairs and gripped the rail with his left hand to guide his way down. While coming down the stairs, he used his right hand to repeatedly pat his right thigh in a way that seemed unexplained.

Pakman explained that people are now noticing a repeated behavior in Trump, and this problem is not actually new to anyone. The commentator added that Trump's behavior seemed connected to the moments when he is taking a careful step or moving in a way that demands extra focus.

Pakman's comments came after a journalist said they spent an hour and a half with the president and noticed three different health issues during that time.

David Pakman's theory explained: Physical Therapy Techniques

Pakman revealed another clip from September 8 when Donald Trump was leaving the Steel Across America tour at the Ellipse near the White House. In that footage, the president raised his fist while exiting and soon after began tapping his thigh while walking. Pakman then offered a theory to explain it. He said,

"One possibility raised online is that this is a physical cue. And there are these physical therapy techniques - bear with me - where you can use a tactile cue to initiate or coordinate a movement."

The commentator meant that Trump's tapping could act as a physical cue. He noted that certain physical therapy methods use tactile cues, where touch is applied to help start or coordinate a movement.

At the end, Pakman mentioned that his comments were only speculation. He clarified that there was no medical diagnosis being offered about Parkinson's disease, stroke, past neurological injuries, or any other condition that could affect movement.
