Elazouar will play the lead young cop, Jason, in Scorpion. Jason finds himself in a challenging situation when he is assigned his first assignment. Can he prove himself? Or will he fail?

As per the synopsis, Jason joins the UK's elite tactical unit that consists of Afghanistan veterans. During a nighttime raid on a remote farmhouse, in a mission to capture a fugitive, they do not realise that they have stepped on a trap. Eventually, they find themselves in a dangerous, isolated situation, cut off from all communication and sealed inside the farmhouse.

The squad then gets orders from a mysterious, sinister voice on the phone who threatens them and issues an ultimatum. Every thirty minutes, the squad members need to confess to their unit about something they did during the classified operations in Afghanistan years ago. However, if they fail to do so, at the thirty-minute interval, someone will be killed in the unit. The synopsis further reads (via WestEnd Films)

"Trapped and terrified, the team fractures into suspicion and betrayal, and Jason begins to realize the heroes he once admired may be hiding something far darker."

The film is produced by James Ireland and Alex Pettyfer under Dark Dreams Entertainment. Matt Murphie, Luke Bouchier, and David Mansfield serve as the producers under the banner Copper Island. Michael Lawrence is the executive producer. West End Films will handle the global distribution. The other producers include Jib Polhemus, Patrick Hughes, Huge Films' Greg McLean, Hannah Leader, and Yariv Lerner.

The additional cast members for Scorpion include Lea Anderson, Ronan Summers, Alex Cooke, Jake Ryan, Luke Bouchier, Anthony Del Negro, Mark Rhino Smith, and Joey Ansah. The cast details, however remains under wraps as of now. The release date and other details have not been revealed yet.
