Transgender reality TV star Sidney Starr (legal name Sidney Favors), known for appearances in Love & Hip Hop: New York, Baddies ATL and related programs was arrested on August 2, 2026, in Hapeville, Georgia.

Starr’s friend TaRodd White has come in her support and urged fans not to rush judgment. He wrote in a Facebook post:

“I’m choosing not to abandon my friend based solely on headlines and accusations. Supporting someone through the legal process is not the same as declaring them innocent or saying accountability shouldn’t exist.”

White, who served as a co-producer alongside Starr in The Gworls Club, added that there should be accountability if the allegations against Sidney Starr are proven true, but if they are not, then it will destroy her reputation. White further said that he had personally known Starr “beyond what people see online” and witnessed people damaging her reputation.

He said that he is “going to let the legal process play out before I join the internet in condemning someone.”
