In the recent interview, Sylvester Stallone notes that Donald Trump’s announcement was quite shocking to him. It took place when he was watching TV, and hearing the announcement caused him to be completely baffled. He adds, “And I went, 'What?'” In the announcement, Trump noted that Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson, and Jon Voight will be the “Special Ambassadors” to Hollywood, which, according to him, is a “very troubled place”.

The ambassadors’ task will be to “serve as Special Envoys” to bring Hollywood back to its prior glory, as through the years it has lost “much business” to “foreign countries”.

He also added that Mel Gibson, Jon Voight, and Sylvester Stallone will become his “eyes and ears” so that the “Golden Age of Hollywood” can be brought back. In the recent interview, Sylvester Stallone notes that if he had been asked about becoming the ambassador, he “would have said, this is not possible”. Stallone also added that Mel Gibson, Jon Voight, and he each work independently, adding that they are 'kind of do-our-own-thing people', hence 'it won't work'."

Stallone also compares Hollywood to “feudal states” and adds that they “have their little kingdoms”. As a result, going to “six studios” to tell them “how to do things” is not something that can be done. Speaking about the announcement, Stallone notes that he said “thank you and ciao” as “it’s impossible”. The workings in Hollywood are ever-evolving and are “corporate”.

Hence, telling them about “finance” will not work, as they will not “hear” him. The announcement regarding Stallone, Gibson, and Voight as the ambassadors was made two years ago. According to reports, Donald Trump has revealed that he spoke with Jon Voight regarding “Federal Tax Incentives” so that they can make “Movie and Television Production Business GREAT Again”.
