Marvel Actor Chris Pratt recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote The Terminal List Season 2. There, Pratt discussed his past as a waiter in Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.'s Maui branch. The star revealed that he almost went by a different name nearly 30 years ago.Pratt was going to go by the name "Christo" because the "pher" portion of the name on his name tag had rubbed off. It seems that the Marvel actor was discovered by a director who had visited the Maui branch."The backstory is, I was discovered at a restaurant in Maui called the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company. I was waiting tables and [a director] gave me an audition, and that changed my life. And I had a name tag that I had written Christopher on. And there's only like a middle part where it doesn't rub off and the Sharpie on the outside rubbed off. And over time it just said "Christo"."Pratt further continued:"And so at Bubba Gump, everyone thought my name was Christo. And so everyone called me Christo. "Hey, Christo, Christo." And I was like, "That's kind of fire. I think I'm gonna go with just Christo? Mono name, like, you know... -Cher? -...Madonna or something. -Yeah, yeah, Christo. -I was almost... Christo."The Marvel actor would have gone by a different name: View this post on Instagram Instagram PostFallon then went on to say that "Christo" could be a suitable name for a stage performer, including as a name for a risqué male dancer.
