Netflix has released the official trailer for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, starring Brad Pitt as Cliff Booth, taking a playful jab at Leonardo DiCaprio's Rick Dalton. Those who have watched Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood, directed by Quentin Tarantino, would remember that Cliff Booth used to be Rick Dalton's stunt double and close friend in the movie.
In the one-minute and thirty-second trailer of The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, when asked what brought their association to an end, Cliff Booth jokes that Rick 'got too fat' for him to double anymore.
The movie is directed by David Fincher, famous for Seven, Zodiac, and Gone Girl, and is written by Quentin Tarantino, known for Reservoir Dogs, From Dusk Till Dawn, and Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood.

The trailer for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth includes a recollection of a very famous scene in Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood in which Cliff Booth famously beats Bruce Lee in a brawl. This shows that even after so many years since the incident, it is still fresh in everyone's mind in Hollywood.
In the trailer, Cliff Booth is shown now managing a bar as a bartender, introducing himself and doing menial chores in LA. When asked about killing people by Scott Caan, who plays Charlie Peters, a famous TV star, Brad Pitt's character Booth says:
"Let's just say I know what it's like to kill someone with a knife."
Towards the end of the trailer, Booth is asked by Elizabeth Debicki's character:
"You worked with Rick Dalton for a number of years. What brought an end to your engagement?"
Answering her question, he says that Rick got too fat for him to double him anymore. The movie is set in 1977, which is eight years after the events of Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood. The movie follows Cliff Booth as he takes on new jobs and deals with trouble in a changing Los Angeles.
As reported by Tudum, Cliff gets a call from Elizabeth Debicki's character, Karen Crosby, who asks him to help TV star Charlie Peters, giving Booth an opportunity to work as a "fixer" in Hollywood. He will be seen solving problems often illegally in his famous fashion across Los Angeles. The movie also brings in the Verdusco brothers, two mysterious criminals who create trouble around the city.
Along with Brad Pitt, the movie also stars Corey Fogelmanis, Karren Karagulian, and Peter Weller. Overall, the vibe of the trailer is dark and gritty, with Tarantino's famous one-liners.
The movie is scheduled to release in IMAX theaters on November 25 for two weeks only. There's also good news for Netflix users, as The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth will arrive on the streaming platform on December 23, giving viewers another way to watch the movie after its theatrical release.
