Lionsgate has released the second trailer for the upcoming movie The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, and hidden in the footage is a quiet Haymitch moment that many viewers might have missed.
The movie is based on Haymitch Abernathy's life before the original Hunger Games, especially his 50th Hunger Games and his relationship with Lenore Dove. In the newly released trailer, Haymitch can be seen devastated by the accidents happening around him, asking President Snow for help in front of the entire audience and the cameras, which also gets Snow's attention.
However, as he stands in front of the higher-ups, thinking of all the destruction caused, he starts slow-clapping, which is also an important moment that shows Haymitch standing up against the Capitol and the losses that change him afterwards.

Haymitch Abernathy was first introduced in the very first part of The Hunger Games, where he became the mentor of Katniss and Peeta. The role was played by Woody Harrelson, famous for True Detective and Now You See Me. While he seemed like a careless person at first who loved drinking, over time, viewers see that there's a reason behind his reckless attitude.
In The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping trailer, viewers come across young Haymitch, played by Joseph Zada, as he takes part in the 50th Hunger Games with President Snow watching everything.
As Haymitch joins the game, President Snow makes it clear to him that it's his game and that how he dies is all up to him, meaning he is just a puppet in the game. In another scene, Haymitch is seen telling Lenore Dove Baird that the Capitol has all the power like they always have. But Lenore soon corrects him, saying it doesn't mean they always will.
At the same time, the 50th Hunger Games, also known as the second Quarter Quell, in which Haymitch is participating, is a special one. It has four tributes taking part from each district. When he sees another tribute being hurt, Haymitch stands up to Snow and tells him, "She's not your toy."
