There have been quite a lot of rumors about the Pentagon having secret UFO ventures. In 2023, whistleblower David Grusch publicly alleged that the U.S. government was aware of extraterrestrial life. He also alleged that the U.S. government had tried to recover crashed UAP/UFO and non-human biological remains, among other claims.

While his UFO claims are yet to be proven as facts, they have attracted quite the attention. Retired U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet, who is also an oceanographer, happens to believe whistleblower David Grusch's claims.

Retired Navy Admiral speaks about UFO files

In 2023, whistleblower David Grusch, who is a former Air Force intelligence officer and National Reconnaissance Office representative to the Pentagon's UAP Task Force, publicly alleged that the U.S. government operated a multi-decade, secret program to recover and reverse-engineer crashed UAP/UFO and non-human biological remains.

Based on his own work and experience in those positions, Grusch claimed that he investigated black-budget programs and found that information was illegally hidden from congressional oversight.

Retired U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet, who led the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) under President Donald Trump, had a conversation with NewsNation's Ross Coulthart back in November 2023. New, previously unseen clips from the conversation were released by NewsNation on October 16, 2026, revealing that Gallaudet believes Grusch’s UFO claims.

Speaking about his belief in the existence of extraterrestrial life, Gallaudet said:

"Oh, absolutely. We're being visited by non-human intelligence with technology we really don't understand and with intentions we don't understand at all either. And this is just one of those great big questions. Are we alone or not? And we're learning we're not."

Gallaudet then said that he believes that the NHI (non-human intelligence) is real. Explaining why he believes so, he said:

"Well, for a number of reasons that have been coming out. Congress has been informed and they have drafted legislation and they've passed legislation, for example, to establish a DoD office to look at it. They've done the same. NASA did the same with a UAP study team."

Gallaudet then pointed out that the July 2023 House Oversight UAP hearing revealed:

"There are crash retrieval programs."

He then added:

"And I have 100% confidence that the testimony by David Grusch and the other witnesses is accurate."

Gallaudet said the entire thing was astonishing and explained that this was why he wrote the article for The Hill. He expressed confusion over why more people were not interested in the subject of UFOs and UAPs and said he was mystified by the lack of intellectual curiosity.

Coulthart recalled that the turning point for him was the Schumer amendment, when the then-Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer included references to nonhuman intelligence more than 20 times in proposed legislation. Gallaudet agreed, emphasizing that this was significant and stating that Congress would not act at that level without having information.

Gallaudet also stated that he believes that the UFO programs are being covered up. Explaining why he believes so, he said:

"Well, sure. This is technology we're still trying to learn about and it could give us an advantage in any military conflict and so that's a good reason to not disclose the nature of the technology and I think for the foreseeable future we don't want to release and disclose all of the technology that we've recovered."

He then added:

"However, I think it's about time that we do disclose that we are in contact with non-human intelligence. That's what needs to be put out there in the public."

Tim Gallaudet thus believes in David Grusch's UFO claims. These claims, however, are all alleged so far and yet to be proven as fact. Stay tuned for more updates.
