"There will be no sharing of snacks" - Robert Downey Jr. shares new Dr Doom artwork to celebrate Avengers: Endgame Encore release

We now know Doctor Doom's favorite movie snacks, thanks to new artwork shared by Robert Downey Jr. to celebrate Avengers: Endgame Encore's release in theatres.

Recently, the beloved actor, who is all set to debut as mega-villain Victor von Doom in Avengers: Doomsday, shared new artwork of his character on social media. In the post, Doctor Doom can be seen sitting in a theatre chair with a bucket of popcorn (shaped like a Nano gauntlet) in one hand and a glass of cola in the other. Snacks like Goobers, pretzels and Junior Mints are also featured in the artwork, with the caption:

"Very Well. Doom shall attend, but there will be no sharing of snacks."

Avengers: Endgame Encore will feature additional scenes connected to Doomsday

The 2019 superhero film, which saw the surviving members of the Avengers and their allies attempt to reverse Thanos's actions in Infinity War, is re-released as Avengers: Endgame Encore in theatres on September 25. It is only fair that Robert Downey Jr. is particularly excited about the re-release, as the latest version features additional scenes connected to Doomsday.

According to Deadline, Avengers: Endgame Encore features four minutes of new footage, featuring characters like Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki and Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner. While Hiddleston was confirmed to return in Doomsday, Ruffalo's appearance is also rumoured.

Fans are having a field day with Downey Jr.'s new post to celebrate Avengers: Endgame Encore re-release. An X user liked the actor's unusual promotional style, calling it an 'iconic' move:

"Doom showing up to the movies with his own snacks is already iconic!"

"Doom brought enough snacks for everyone and still chose violence." wrote another user on X

Many fans feel Doctor Doom not sharing his snacks at the movie perfectly fits the character's image. One X user wrote:

"That’s the most Doctor Doom sentence possible. Shows up to the Endgame re-release, sits in the mask, and still won’t pass the popcorn. RDJ is already playing him."

The re-release of Avengers: Endgame Encore has only added to the excitement surrounding Avengers: Doomsday. The upcoming film, set amidst the collapse of the Multiverse, will pit groups of heroes from three different universes against the existential threat of Doctor Doom.
