The Doomsday trailer dropped this week, giving a glimpse of the ultimate battle between Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom and multiple heroes of the MCU. From Thor urging the Avengers, Wakandans, Fantastic Four, and X-Men to unite against Doctor Doom to the surprise appearance of Steve Rogers aka Captain America, the trailer has left Marvel enthusiasts eagerly 3waiting for the film. Doomsday will arrive in U.S. theatres on December 18, 2026.

Since the trailer for Doomsday dropped, social media has been buzzing with theories about the upcoming movie. However, one particular scene from the trailer might have given away the movie's ending. According to several enthusiasts, a brief emotional moment shared between Vanessa Kirby's Sue Storm and Joseph Quinn's Johnny Storm might have dropped a hint about the ending.

If one decreases the brightness during that particular moment in the teaser, viewers can see what appears to be a multiverse Incursion occurring in the background, implying that the entire universe could be destroyed. However, Marvel Studios has not commented on the scene yet. Is it an actual spoiler? Or did the makers add the scene to confuse the viewers? The answer remains a mystery.

At the 1:21-minute mark on the Doomsday trailer, Fantastic Four siblings Sue and Johnny Storm share a moment hugging each other. Several fans have reported that if one lowers the brightness, one can get a glimpse of a multiverse Incursion in the background. However, the scene can also be a glimpse of a distant universe falling apart due to Doctor Doom's destruction rather than directly affecting the Fantastic Four members on Earth-828.

In the trailer, Thor delivers a speech about an alarming threat, as he proceeds to say that he has fought alongside many strong warriors in his lifetime, but they died facing their enemies and threats. This time, however, he urges the heroes to unite against their scariest threat, Doctor Doom. He further adds that the battle isn't going to be easy,

"We are going to need a miracle."

The Incursions shown in the trailer might be one of the reasons Thor decides that he needs to unite the heroes for the ultimate fight against Doctor Doom.

Alternatively, the incursions scene might be a spoiler teasing the ending of the upcoming movie. Avengers: Doomsday could thus end with incursions, with Doctor Doom emerging victorious in his Battleworld.

According to the rumoured leaks as discussed by YouTuber John Campea, when Steve confronts Doom, he reveals that he plans to let the incursions happen so that he can rebuild a multiverse of his own.

Doom reveals that Steve's presence in his universe might have triggered the incursions. Doom believes this led to his family's death as a result of his failed experiments. Doom then kills Steve's son to seek revenge.

This reportedly leads to the ultimate war as X-Men, Avengers, and Fantastic Four unite. According to the leak, a massive war leads to destruction and deaths, and only Doom survives. It is then revealed that he had stolen Loki's powers. Doom ultimately creates a Battleworld and resurrects everyone, wiping their memories. He further declares himself as the Emperor of Battlefield.

Whether the incursions shown in the trailer actually tease Doomsday's ending remains unclear. If theories/leaks are true, this could be a major hint at Doctor Doom's Battleworld and what lies ahead.
