Former astronaut Charlie Duke reportedly shared his perspectives on UFOs, UAPs, and alien life and further addressed moon landing conspiracy theories. According to CBN News, Charlie said,
"I felt like UFOs were demonic, but I was saying that at rotary clubs and stuff like that, and people were laughing me off the stage."
Charlie recalled that he once prayed for a clear sign to confirm his belief, and so he asked God to show him proof. The next morning, one of his close friends brought up the subject of UFOs during breakfast.
The astronaut revealed that his friend was a businessman who never discussed science or unusual topics. However, the friend immediately began talking about UFOs. Charlie believed that the demonic powers connected to the UFO possessed his friend, and that's why he started talking about it rather than discussing business. He further said:
"What I feel is the UFOs are trying to turn us away from the truth and run after these alien beings, which are really not beings at all. They're demonic."

Charlie Duke opened up about the demonic forces connected to the UFOs
The former astronaut also recalled the Bible's warning that the devil could disguise himself as an angel of light. Based on this, he explained that he believed UFOs were not truly alien life but demonic forces that were meant to lead people away from the truth and believe in false ideas.
Charlie believed that whatever happened during the breakfast with his friend that morning was a sign that God showed him.
According to the Christian Post, the author of the book 'UFOs and God: Revealing Deception and Truth Behind the Supernatural, Invisible War,' Derrick Warfel argued that UFO encounters were signs of fallen supernatural powers instead of extraterrestrial beings. Derrick further stated that he supported his argument by referring to Ephesians 6:12. The author also argued that ghosts were nothing more than deceiving evil spirits or demons.
While some interpret UFO encounters through a religious lens, reports of unexplained sightings have also emerged from military personnel and pilots.
The National Geographic revealed that pilots of the USS Nimitz and the USS Theodore Roosevelt had witnessed UFOs in 2004 and between 2014 and 2015 respectively. During these encounters, aviators such as Commander David Fravor described a smooth, white object without wings or windows, often referred to as the Tic Tac. They reported that it carried out flight maneuvers that went beyond the limits of known physics.
Charlie Duke reveals whether he has seen UFOs
Charlie explained that during his time as an astronaut, he never saw anything unusual like a UFO. He shared that he and his crew experienced strange flashes of light once they passed beyond the Van Allen radiation belts.
These flashes appeared as streaks across their vision, which stimulated their retina. He noticed them in different directions, sometimes upper left, lower right, straight ahead, or fading away. Charlie explained,
"We had some strange, what we call light flashes. As we got beyond the Van Allen belts, we'd see these streaks go through, which would stimulate our retina. And it would be, oh, that one's upper left or lower right."
Scientists designed an experiment using two moving photographic plates to study the phenomenon happening on the Moon. The astronauts wore the device for hours, reported each flash they saw, described its position and intensity, and every observation was recorded on the plates.
The data was analyzed after returning to Earth, and it was revealed that the flashes were caused by cosmic particles. Charlie admitted he no longer remembered the exact scientific definition but emphasized that the flashes were real.
