Donald Trump reportedly slammed former Democrat candidates and said that he could have done very 'bad things' because they had impeached him twice. The president stated:

"It was just mentioned in the form of a question what they did — very illegal, what they did, many illegal things."

Raw Story reported that Trump shocked the crowd on October 7, 2026, when he gave a strange speech about what Democrats might do to him if they win back control of Congress after the midterm elections.

Inside the Oval Office, the president spoke to Fox News reporter Peter Doocy and revealed that he knew Democrats had planned to impeach him as soon as they gained control of Congress. He argued that Democrats had no valid reason to remove him, even though impeachment articles had already been filed against him for launching an unauthorized war against Iran and issuing questionable pardons.

According to Fox News, Rep. John Larson accused the president of committing murder, war crimes, and piracy because he ordered a naval blockade around Venezuela that targeted oil tankers already under U.S. sanctions. Larson also accused Trump of launching dozens of strikes against vessels in the Eastern Pacific and the Caribbean, which he identified as drug trafficking operations.

Donald Trump slammed former Democrat candidates over impeachment

Before the November midterm elections, Donald Trump reportedly gave a warning to Democrats and left everyone in the room shocked. He said,

"I could have done very bad things to Hillary Clinton. I could have done very, very bad things to Joe Biden. I could have done very bad things to Barack Hussein Obama."

After delivering his threat, he said that he thought it was wrong to act that way because the presidency should be treated with respect.

According to Trump, Democrats had impeached him twice, and therefore, he insisted that even now he could do whatever he wanted if he chose to do so. He accused the Democrats of doing very bad things and added that what they did was very illegal.

According to the Economic Times, Trump argued that Democrats would impeach him if they gained control of Congress because, in his perspective they lacked clear reasons but were motivated by political hostility. He said that when lawmakers were asked what grounds they had for impeachment, they could not provide specific answers. Trump recalled,

"They said, ' We don't know. I don't know. One of them was just dumbfounded by the question. He said, yeah, we would impeach him."

Trump said that despite their being unable to give answers, they acknowledged his record of achievements such as building factories across the nation, attracting trillions of dollars in investment, passing major tax cuts, and avoiding new wars.

The president emphasized that his presidency had overseen what he described as the strongest economy ever, with $21 trillion flowing into the nation in a single year. He claimed that despite these accomplishments, Democrats pursued impeachment twice, and he noted that both attempts were dismissed and left him unconcerned.

Trump insisted that he could have taken harsh actions against political rivals like Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama but refrained out of respect for the presidency. He criticized Congressman Al Green and labeled him irrational for repeatedly calling for impeachment.

The president concluded that Democrats used impeachment as a weapon without legitimate cause, while he maintained that the presidency must be treated with dignity and respect.
