Photojournalist Eliana Moreno was aboard the NBC LA (KNBC-TV) and Telemundo 52 chopper that crashed in Chatsworth, California, on Tuesday evening. Moreno was live covering a deadly Metro bus crash near San Fernando Valley moments before the chopper plunged, triggering concerns for her safety.According to NBC LA reports, three fatalities occurred in the fiery crash and one person was hospitalized. While the cause of the crash has not been officially announced, engine malfunction is suspected. Eliana’s live feed offered the sound of a stall warning. The camera crew also captured their own chopper free-falling as Moreno was heard asking, “We can’t pull up?” moments before the live feed abruptly cut off.Eliana Moreno was not married. Instead, she was engaged to former ABC Radio anchor and Lakewood, CA, native Robert Barrientos, according to her Facebook.The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that the chopper went down between two commercial buildings in the 9100 block of North Mason Avenue, just before 7 PM. The fire from the crash damaged four vehicles and two storage containers in the vicinity.LAFD’s public information officer Brandon Silverman shared in a statement:“From the helicopter itself, it's pretty well destroyed.
