Bella Hadid’s former romantic interest, Adan Banuelos, was arrested on Saturday, just days after rumors of their split broke. On January 31, Adan was arrested in Texas and charged with public intoxication. According to Parker County Jail records, the cowboy was released after he posted a $386 bond. His arrest comes days after it was reported that he and Bella had ended their two-year relationship. Neither of them has publicly commented on the alleged breakup.

In an exclusive report published some hours after Adan Banuelos’s arrest, TMZ wrote that the couple was spotted together slow dancing in a bar in Weatherford, Texas, late Friday night. The reports caused speculations that the couple might not be totally over after all. In the exclusive video obtained by the news outlet, Bella and Adan were seen intimately dancing as the cowboy nuzzled his face into the model’s neck. Eyewitnesses also confirmed to the news outlet that the couple held hands, kissed, danced, and chatted for about an hour and a half before grabbing some food and leaving.

TMZ reported that Bella Hadid and Adan Banuelos only had a drink or two at the bar before they left, leading one to wonder what happened in the few hours between Friday night and Saturday morning that led to Adan being picked up by the authorities for public intoxication.

Bella Hadid and Adan Banuelos were romantically linked for the first time in October 2023 after TMZ released a video of them being intimate. In January of the next year, Bella Hadid softly launched the relationship on Instagram. In February, after the model declared that the cowboy was her valentine, a source told Entertainment Tonight that:

“Bella and Adan are in love, and her family and friends have never seen her this happy.”

And:

In August, Adan shared on the Along For the Ride podcast that Bella moved into his 5th wheel trailer when they started dating.

“She did do the 5th wheel, happily. It was badass. That 5th wheel has always felt small, and then you get, you know, somebody that you enjoy spending time with, and that 5th wheel went from a 5th wheel to a f*cking mansion.”

Adding that it was:

“Cool, because I really wanted that to be a part of our relationship. You know, you start having feelings for somebody, and you start thinking things like, ‘Man, maybe this is the rest of my life here,’ and knowing that she is that simple of a human being and that the material things aren’t important or the most important thing.”

The couple made several public appearances together and celebrated each other on social media. In May 2025, the supermodel opened up during an interview with British Vogue about how she met Adan Banuelos. In October 2025, Adan penned a sweet message to Bella, describing her as God-sent.

“October’s become a special month. It’s the month God sent you. Even with all the chaos and ugliness, He gave us something pure and beautiful. Love you, baby. I’ll keep reminding you every day just how much,” he wrote on Instagram.

In January 2026, Entertainment Tonight reported that the couple had allegedly broken up. The couple hasn't confirmed the news.
