Ayzia J. Toledo, who was known as influencer Ayzia J has died in a car crash at the age of 22. The accident occurred on July 5.

According to a report in People magazine, Ayzia was driving a BMW on a freeway in New Jersey when she lost “directional control” of the vehicle. The car ran off the left side of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree.

Toledo and her front-seat passenger, 22-year-old Henrietta F. Carter, sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. A third passenger “sustained minor injuries” and was transported to a local hospital. The accident occurred around 10:55 pm. The crash remains under investigation by police.

Ayzia J was a rising TikTok star with over 250,000 followers and an Instagram influencer with a following of more than 80,000. Hours before the crash, Ayzia had shared Instagram Stories showing her dancing, singing karaoke and enjoying time with friends.

According to her Instagram bio, Ayzia J described herself as a TV personality, content creator, and model. She was known for sharing lifestyle and travel content with her fans.

Besides being active on Instagram and TikTok, she maintained a strong presence on YouTube, where she shared similar content with her 21,000 subscribers. She also posted get-ready-with-me and brand collaboration videos on her social media platforms. Her final post shared on Instagram has been dated July 2, including a promotional video for clothing brand Shein.

Ayzia J and her friend Henrietta F. Carter, both of whom died in the unfortunate car accident on July 5, were based in Pennsylvania. They reported going partying that night. She was seen sharing videos with friends while hosting the Darty in the USA event.

Meanwhile, Ayzia’s family members and friends have paid tributes to her sudden demise. A user wrote on X:

“There is no greater pain than losing someone you love before their time. Praying her family finds strength in the middle of this unimaginable grief.”

Another user added:

“This young girl was from my area, so sad!! She was so loved by the people here. Reunited with her mama and grandma.”

Born in August 2003, Ayzia J made her TikTok debut in 2019 through dance challenges and gained more followers by posting lip-syncs, skits, travel vlogs and lifestyle content. She went viral in early 2024 for who hand is this video that reportedly gained over four million views.

A GoFundMe page has been set up by Ayzia’s family member, Sherice McDavison, who started the fundraiser on July 6 for her funeral and memorial expenses. The fundraiser has raised over $ 8,657 out of the target of $13,000. The page paid a tribute to the late influencer, where she has been described as a person with:

“a beautiful spirit, a vibrant personality, and a way of making everyone around her feel seen, valued, and loved.”

Ayzia is believed to have been reunited in heaven with her late mother and grandmother. Her tribute concluded with a message for her loved ones, conveying to keep Ayzia in their prayers and consider sharing the fundraiser with others. The tribute added:

“Ayzia’s light will never fade. She will forever live on through the memories, laughter, and love she shared with so many. Though her journey here was far too short, her impact was profound, and her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.”
