Recently, a fan cam capturing KATSEYE members having what appeared to be a heated argument began circulating on social media. In the viral clip, member Manon could be seen having an intense interaction with the other members. Sophia was actively engaged in the conversation, and Lara and Meghan, too, could be seen listening in the video.

Immediately after the clip was shared on social media, fans of the group and netizens in general believed that the twenty-two-year-old member was arguing with the other members. A member of the audience could be heard saying in the clip:

“Manon is not having it.”

However, KATSEYE’s Manon addressed the now viral moment on Weverse. She clarified that she wasn't arguing with her members but instead describing an incident she witnessed during their performance.

“Lmao friends,” she wrote in her Weverse DMs.

Adding:

“The girls aren't fighting!”

She went on to explain the incident she had been animatedly describing to her group members.

“I was really upset because there was a grown man in the crowd who wasn’t even a fan, just shoving people including kids to get autographs he could resell later.”

KATSEYE’s Manon added:

“Your safety is number one always.”
