Rapper and reality TV personality Chrisean Rock celebrated her son Chrisean Jesus Malone Jr’s third birthday on September 3. She shares her only child with her former partner, fellow rapper, and boxer Blueface.Videos and images from the birthday celebration were shared by Rock on social media. One such clip showed the mother carrying her son in her arms and asking him for a kiss. However, the toddler didn’t appear to understand or respond.Many blamed Chrisean Rock for her son’s behavior or lack thereof, claiming that she drank and smoked during her pregnancy, which seemingly led to her son’s alleged difficulties.Others appeared to be confused by what Chrisean has allegedly done to her son. He’s not,” one person tweeted.Here's what Chrisean Rock has said about her son’s alleged conditionThroughout her pregnancy, Chrisean Rock faced scrutiny after several images and videos of her smoking and consuming alcohol surfaced online.In a March 2026 episode of the podcast The Danza Project, Rock was asked about the “concerns” regarding her son, to which she said she wouldn’t “accept” any medical diagnoses. The Zeus star also read out a text from boxer Ryan Garcia:“'If it's anything I could do, I’m here. The part that really messed with me is that Blueface doesn't seem active in the child's life because of his disability.'”Chrisean Rock also revealed her reply to Garcia:“So, I said, ‘My son does not have a disability. He is developing at his own pace and hitting his milestones in his own timing. Every child is different and I'm confident in his growth.’”She mentioned that she never said her son has a “disability” and asked everyone to “watch your mouth.” Chrisean Rock claimed she had a “revelation” from God and chooses to rely on her faith over medicine.“It's like saying if someone [is] a doctor, anybody speaks against your kid or yourself, then you should not accept it, bro. If they're guessing or whatever: no. The Word said what the Word said. God says what God says. I don't have to accept what you [say]. So, it's really me protecting a revelation that I heard from the Lord over my son.”The rapper claimed nobody should accept anything a doctor says about their child, adding, she couldn’t wait till Chrisean Jr began “walking and talking.”Last month, Jason Lee sat down with Chrisean Rock and asked:“When you are helping your son, who obviously people have concerns about, how do you plan for that, and how do you embrace the opportunity to help him with whatever challenges he may have?”She once again denied that her son had “special needs,” and clarified:“He’s just going to outgrow all the things he’s having. He doesn’t have any diagnosis or illness. I just think he needs more time and I’m on his time. He got therapy; I’m there for [him], I’m praying over him, and I don’t accept the things that people are putting on him.”Meanwhile, Blueface blamed his ex for his son’s situation and told DJ Vlad in a November 2025 interview:“There is no disability. The only disability is her. She's not into [motherhood] enough. So, the things you normally do with kids and you know how they start off walking and talking, it's a buildup to that and it takes a lot of you walking and talking to them. That's where she's like not doing enough at. He can see. He can stand. He can move. He's very agile. He is very mobile. He doesn't talk.”The Thotiana artist continued:“He makes noises and stuff. If you put the time into it, it'll happen. But if you don't, it's not going to happen for any baby, gang. Like, if you have a baby and you leave him in the stroller all day, or you just leave him… You're not as intuitive and tentative; you're not putting on these kid shows and things for him to see and hear; any child's going to be behind.”Earlier this year, Chrisean Rock revealed her son’s hernia briefly affected his mobility, but he had since recovered from it. In July 2025, she received backlash for taking her son to a smoke shop.In her latest Instagram post, Chrisean Rock shared moments from her son’s birthday celebration.“Happy 3rd birthday to my beautiful son! @chriseanjesus I love you deeply! You are my greatest blessing, my biggest joy, and the sweetest love I have ever known. Watching you grow has been the most beautiful journey of my life. You brighten every room, make me laugh every day, and give me a reason to keep becoming the best version of myself,” the caption read.The post had multiple photos and videos of the mother-son duo. The caption continued:“I pray God continues to protect you, guide you, and cover your life with His love and favor. May you grow into a strong, kind, fearless man of God who knows just how deeply he is loved. Mommy will always be right beside you, praying for you, protecting you, and cheering you on. Three years with you have changed my whole world. I love you more than words could ever explain. Happy birthday, my baby, my heart, and my greatest gift.”Chrisean Rock and Blueface dated between 2020 and 2023. She announced her pregnancy in January 2023 and gave birth in September, which was livestreamed on Instagram. The child was baptized in November 2024.
