The American Society of Cinematographers has officially announced the nominees for its Outstanding Achievement Awards for this year. One Battle After Another received a nomination in the Theatrical Feature Film category at the 2026 American Society of Cinematographers Awards.

It is worth noting that the nomination makes One Battle After Another one of the five films considered by American Society of Cinematographers members for cinematography excellence during the 2025 film year.

The American Society of Cinematographers Awards are voted on by directors of photography. For One Battle After Another, the nomination recognizes the work of Michael Bauman. He was the film's director of photography.

One Battle After Another earned its nomination in the Theatrical Feature Film category, which is sponsored by Keslow Camera. This year's nominations include two Warner Bros. titles, two Netflix releases and an A24 production.

It is worth noting that the ASC's top film prize has often aligned with the Academy Award for Best Cinematography. According to reports, in 18 of the association's 39 previous ceremonies, the ASC winner went on to win the Oscar.

Notably, Michael Bauman appears twice among the 2026 American Society of Cinematographers Awards nominees. Besides his feature film nomination for One Battle After Another, he has also been nominated in the Limited or Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television category for Monster: The Ed Gein Story, episode "Buxum Bird."
