All we know about Sam Levinson's wife Ashley Levinson

Sam Levison’s personal life has evoked an interest after he and his wife, Ashley Levison, donated a significant amount to Eric Dane’s GoFundMe campaign.

Born on July 22, 1982, in California, to Michael Mullen and Robert Ralph Lent, Ashley grew up in her hometown along with her sibling, Allison Lent. She works as a College Advisor at Allison Hatcher College Advising and is married to Mike Hatcher.

Ashley and her husband have collaborated as producers on several projects. Their credits include Euphoria, The Idol, Malcolm & Marie and Pieces of a Woman. She currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer at Bron Studios.

While speaking about their Netflix film, Malcolm & Marie, Ashley Levinson told The Hollywood Reporter that the idea of the story stemmed from a real incident based on their lives. Reports stated that Sam forgot to acknowledge Ashley in his speech despite her extensive involvement as a producer on Assassination Nation.

She told the outlet:

“With Malcolm & Marie, we actually reverse-engineered into it. So Sam was like, ‘What can I write that can hold suspense for everyone, given that we have these limitations [from Covid-19]? And he was like, ‘I know a terrible thing that someone can do to another person — what if Malcolm forgets to thank Marie at the premiere of his film?’

She added that they looked at one another and then started laughing because it reflected an actual moment they had shared in the past.

Ashley Levison said that they went to the afterparty after the incident and then it started to weigh on her and she told him:

“Maybe next time you can remember me.”

While sharing his views on the same incident with Refinery 29, Sam said:

“We only talked about it on the ride home, but I couldn’t stop thinking about what happens when you forget to acknowledge the contribution of someone so integral to the process.”

Ashley Levinson and her husband are known to have maintained a high level of privacy when it comes to their kids. However, reports indicated that the pair has a son.
