Who is Brian Duckworth’s wife? GoFundMe raises over $3000 as community rallies around Tina Duckworth after Country singer’s death

Country artist Brian Duckworth, often nicknamed “Nashville,” passed away at the age of 56 at his home in West Virginia on September 7, 2026. He was a member of the West Virginia family band Taylor Made.

No public cause of Brian’s death has been released in the reports. He is survived by his wife, Tina Scheuvront Duckworth, his six children, four grandchildren and five siblings. Tina and Brian spent nineteen years together before the country artist’s death. They were married on October 1, 2010.

Tina worked as a Medical Assistant at United Hospital Center Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She has over 22 years of experience in patient care. She maintains a relatively low profile compared with her husband.

She paid tribute to Brian Duckworth, noting that he was “the most humble and selfless” person, someone with a huge heart who would give the shirt off his back. She described him as a “simple man” with deep love for his family. He found joy in “singing, hunting, and making people laugh.”

Community supports Brian Duckworth’s wife Tina Duckworth as GoFundMe raises over $3000

Brooke Wickenhofer, a best friend of Tina Duckworth’s and one of the kids, has set up a GoFundMe to support her family in covering funeral and other expenses following Brian Duckworth’s death.

The page has been titled “Support for Tina Scheuvront Duckworth” and reads:

“Brooke’s best friend’s mom, is facing an unimaginable loss after the sudden and unexpected passing of her husband at just 56 years old. In the middle of heartbreak and grief, Tina is now also carrying the very real burden of funeral expenses, time away from work, and the many bills that continue to come in. This is a painful season no one should have to walk through alone, and Brooke is asking the community to come together around Tina with love, care, and support.”

The page describes Tina as someone with a kind heart and a true “definition of big love.” It urged the community to help her in such a time of crisis, no matter the size of the donation. It added that this would help her to cover pending and upcoming bills, funeral costs and her time away from work. The GoFundMe page set up for Brian Duckworth has raised over $ 3,725 so far.

Tina shared with LiveNowFox that she and Brian were babies when they first met, recalling that they were only 1 and 2 years old. Brian would joke that he didn’t remember meeting her and people assumed it was because he’d been drinking. Their romance began much later.

In her statement on Brian Duckworth’s passing, Tina said that he touched many lives and wished he could see the “outpouring love” which people had for him. She added that everyone who knew him will miss Brian. Tina then expressed gratitude for spending 19 years with her husband. She wrote:

“He will always be a part of me, and I will carry my love for him in my heart for the rest of my life.”

The pair tied the knot in 2010. They were parents to six children, including Zach Morris, Ashton Goines, Logan Duckworth, Kayla Starkey, Michael Starkey and Matt Starkey. His obituary noted that Brian deeply loved his family. The statement reads:

Brian’s love of family, music, and the outdoors will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.”

Brian Duckworth began his music career after forming the band Taylor Made with his sister, Wendy Duckworth Adams, and his brother, Greg Duckworth. Among other hits, the band was recognized for the popular song Things You Don't Grow Out Of. Throughout the years, the band shared the stage with Dierks Bentley, Charlie Daniels and Miranda Lambert. They were named MusicRow Magazine’s Independent Artist of the Year in 2012.
