Domhnall Gleeson has been married to Juliette Bonass since 2023, after they met as students while studying at the Dublin Institute of Technology. Besides About Time, Gleeson is popularly known for his appearance as Bill Weasley in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and 2.

Gleeson and Bonass are both from Ireland and have worked on projects like Your Bad Self, Immatürity for Charity and a short film titled Psychic. In a 2015 interview with the Irish Independent, she spoke about collaborating with Gleeson, who was her close friend at that time. She told the outlet:

"I've worked with him before. And done a couple of shorts with him, and comedy sketches with him for charity. He's very successful, I'm very happy for him.”

Describing Gleeson as “really hard working”, Bonass shared that he dedicated his time towards acting even during their fourth year. She added that he “was concentrating on his studies even while he was working, so fair play to him.”

The couple sparked dating speculation in May 2016 when Domhnall Gleeson was spotted on a date with Bonass (his then-girlfriend). They were seen walking around Disneyland Park in California.

And I still try to work as hard as I can, but I was doing it all the time for about two years and actually I didn’t get to have the nice things that happen in your life, or to be around for both the difficult stuff and the good stuff.”

Domhnall Gleeson is the eldest of his siblings and shares a close bond with his three brothers, Fergus, Brian, and Rory. They were born to actors Brendan Gleeson and Mary Weldon.
