He became close friends with Leslie during the six weeks of filming, where he was hired to build Leslie Davis and her twin a luxury waterfront condo. The sisters ended up winning!“He was our speciality carpenter. He worked on mine and Lyndsay's home exclusively for the entire project, helping us make all of our custom woodwork items,” Leslie Davis noted.She continued:“We built a great friendship, but the romance was completely unexpected." I had zero clue it would happen. But, somehow, as the months passed after the show ended, we became closer and closer, talking non-stop on the phone and then fell in love.”Later, they began a long-distance romance before he moved from Colorado to Snohomish, Washington. Over the bygone holiday season, he proposed during a snowmobile trip in Leavenworth in the presence of her three sons. The newly-engaged couple now lives and works together.
