Hudson Williams, best known for his role as Shane Hollander in the sports drama Heated Rivalry, recently shared a heartfelt post for his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day.

On February 14, the 25-year-old posted a collage on his Instagram stories confirming his romance with his longtime partner. The post featured mirror selfies of the couple with his arms wrapped around her. Another picture was of an overhead shot of the mystery lady lying on top of him in bed along with the caption:

“Happy Valentine’s Day [followed by a heart emoji]”

Although the Canadian actor didn’t mention her name publicly, some reports referred to her as Katelyn. She is from Port Moody, British Columbia, and works as a tattoo artist at Pulse Vancity, a professional tattoo studio in the city. She is currently 24 years old.

In his latest Instagram story, Hudson Williams described having Katelyn by his side since his pre-fame days, as he wrote:

“with me since my 2000 gold Mazda Protégé smoked and squealed and I had no job.”

He also dedicated his post to his co-star Connor Storrie who plays Ilya Rozanov in Heated Rivalry.

Hudson Williams responds on his personal life’s discussions on Deuxmoi

Hudson Williams’ personal life has become the subject of interest following his casting as a gay hockey player, Shane Hollander, in the hit HBO Max (and Crave) show, Heated Rivalry. Fans have been speculating about his real-life sexual orientation.

They are particularly attentive towards his relationship with his longtime girlfriend after he publicly acknowledged his romance in a recent Valentine’s Day post. She has been frequently referred to as Katelyn in media reports and has also been a part of online discussions.

According to a report in Variety, in a December 2025 episode of the Deux U podcast, the host critiqued Heated Rivalry, arguing that the show has a weak plot and also criticized the acting. The podcast was reportedly hosted by the anonymous gossip account Deuxmoi.

While discussing the show, one of the hosts said:

“I didn’t find the acting that strong.”

To which another added:

“People aren’t watching it for the acting.”

Then the other person added that there was “no plot” and shifted to discussing the personal lives of the cast. The host said:

“If you received the Deuxmoi newsletter, it was revealed…now this is per the fans, this isn’t any information I received…that Hudson Williams does have a girlfriend.”

They shared Hudson Williams’ girlfriend’s name and that she is a tattoo artist who gave him and his co-star, Connor Storie their matching tattoos. The clip went viral on Instagram and received backlash from fans before it was reportedly removed from the platform. Upset with the viral video, Williams wrote:

“You know what, I’ve grown quite unfond of you deuxmoi.”

Hudson Williams has maintained a private life with his longtime girlfriend. In an interview with Deadline, he stated that he intends to maintain a level of privacy as an actor. He told the outlet:

“I think there’s never a question for me, when I would dream of becoming in the public eye, that I would want just a level of privacy.”

While Williams continues to keep his girlfriend’s identity under wraps, she occasionally appears on his social media. Reports and fan accounts indicate that she accompanied the Heated Rivalry star to the show’s Canadian premiere.
