Former Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak has recently gained attention after a fun video of him with his daughter, Maggie Sajak resurfaced on the internet.

The video, which was shared by Maggie on TikTok on February 28, shows Pat strutting down a hallway at home, lip-syncing to the Jennie remix of Tame Impala’s Dracula. The clip gained quick attention as fans shared their love at seeing the retired host enjoying family time in retirement.

The loving family moment has piqued an interest in the 79 year old presenter’s daughter, Maggie Sajak. Born in January 1995 in Baltimore, she is currently 31 years old. Her mother is Lesly Brown Sajak. Her Instagram bio stated that she is a social correspondent at the Wheel of Fortune. She is also a television personality and a country music singer.

Maggie also has an elder brother named Patrick. He is a physician and has completed medical school. He is now known as Dr Sajak.

Who is Pat Sajak’s daughter Maggie Sajak?

Pat Sajak received an outpouring of love from his fans after a February 28 video of him went viral. It was uploaded by his daughter, Maggie Sajak, on her TikTok account.

The playful video showed the former presenter lip-syncing to Jennie’s Dracula remix. When an explicit word was played, he covered his mouth with both hands, drawing praise and laughs for his timing.

Viewers jumped to the comment section to discuss him while noticing that he has been in good health during his retirement. The viral clip reflected his close bond with his daughter, Maggie Sajak whom Sajak shares with his second wife, Lesly Brown Sajak. They married in 1989 after Sajak’s divorce from Sherrill Sajak in 1986.

The country artist grew up in the Severna Park area of Maryland with her elder brother, Patrick. He was born in 1990. However, he has stayed out of the spotlight, unlike his sister.

Maggie Sajak graduated from Princeton University and completed a postgraduate program at Columbia University. In an interview with Teen Vogue, she shared that she started playing guitar at age 13. She told the outlet:

“Since I was a young girl! It's always been a dream of mine to be a singer. When I started playing guitar and performing more often, my passion for music became a top priority.”

Maggie credited her mother with developing her interest in music. She told Teen Vogue that when she was a teenager, she sang and played keyboard in a band. At the age of 16, Maggie released her first country-pop track, First Kiss.

She first appeared on Wheel of Fortune as a baby in 1996. She officially joined as the social media correspondent at the start of Season 39 in fall 2021. While assuming the position on the show, she said:

"The Wheel of Fortune staff and crew have always been like an extended family ... and I'm thrilled to be working with them. It's a real privilege to be able to treat the show's longtime viewers to a look at what goes on when the cameras aren't rolling. Plus, I get to use the carpool lane with my father!"

Pat and Maggie Sajak recently made an appearance as guest announcers at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee on March 21. The duo announced segments during the live Opry show, as they mingled with stars like Brad Paisley and Trace Adkins and Pat even danced with the Opry Square Dancers.

Before the event, they visited the WSM Radio where Pat reminisced about his early career. Sajak retired from Wheel of Fortune after his final episode aired in June 2024.
