Niall Horan made a revelation about his father, Bobby Horan’s health struggles, fearing that he will need a hip replacement in the future.

The 32-year-old Irish singer and songwriter opened during an interview on The Zach Sang Show, which was aired recently while promoting his upcoming album Dinner Party. He described his knees as “f***ed” and that “hips are now going too.” He attributed it to genetics while mentioning his father’s recent surgeries.

Horan added that his dad is 66 years old and has recently undergone knee replacement surgery. He shared that he had a hip replacement 18 months ago and has now been scheduled for another one.

Niall Horan’s father is from Ireland, and he separated from his mother, Maura Gallagher, when he was five. Later, Niall and his older brother, Greg, initially lived with their mom before deciding to move in with Bobby.

Horan was born to Bobby Horan and Maura Gallagher on September 13, 1993, in Mullingar, Ireland. He has an older brother named Greg. Their parents were married for 15 years before going their separate ways in 1999. At the time of their divorce, the One Direction singer was five years old. Horan and his brother were raised together in the town of Mullingar, where Niall performed in school plays and participated in a choir.

Horan’s father worked as a butcher at Tesco, a British grocery chain. Bobby has been supportive of Niall's career and was spotted accompanying him to events over the years.
