Ryan Beatty has been trending online after he dropped a new single titled Secret Language on June 5, 2026. The track is reportedly part of his upcoming fourth studio album, Sweet Fortune, scheduled to release on June 26.
The announcement generated a wave of excitement among his fans as Beatty returns from a three-year hiatus from his solo career. Approximately 4 minutes long, the video encapsulates the theme of emotional vulnerability and unspoken love along with cinematic visuals. It has been directed and cinematographed by Rhys Scarabosio with creative direction by Jacob Bixenman.
Beatty emerged as a teen-pop sensation in 2011-2012, uploading singing videos on YouTube, where he amassed millions of views. He initially gained attention through covers and his debut single, Every Little Thing. In the same year, he released his debut EP, Because of You and went on a hiatus. Ryan Beatty has gained renewed attention after he stepped back from a long hiatus with his new single Secret Language.
In a June 1 Instagram announcement post, he described the music as "music for the heat / from the heart / all for you" and said they're "coming in red hot and swinging". The new track is part of his much-anticipated album, Sweet Fortune which will be out in late June.
Beatty has already released three studio albums previously - Boy in Jeans, Dreaming of David and Calico. He has also released two early EPs, such as Because of You and Ryan Beatty.

Ryan Beatty was born on September 25, 1995, making him 30 years old as of 2026. Besides being a singer-songwriter, he is also a vocalist and a producer. He is from Clovis, California, but is currently based in Los Angeles.
In 2012, Beatty was dubbed the next Justin Bieber, and later in 2013, he toured with Cody Simpson. Sharing his thoughts on comparisons with Bieber, the artist told Attitude Magazine in 2020:
“I was not only insecure about the music I was making, but I was like: ‘I don’t really know who I am, and I feel a lack of control.”
He also spoke on making music and shared that one has to be “fearless” while doing so. He also shared the importance of honesty in his life:
“If there isn’t any honesty in what I’m doing, it almost makes me feel sick. I can’t continue to work on something if it feels as if it doesn’t come from an honest place.”
Beatty went into a period of hiatus in 2012 after releasing his EP Because of You, but re-emerged in 2016 with the single Passion. In June 2016, he came out as g*y through an emotional Instagram post when he was 20 years old. In the now-deleted post, he declared that he is “proud to be a raging homosexual.”
Reports stated that in 2017, the artist collaborated on Brockhampton albums (Saturation II, Saturation III, and Ginger), as well as worked with artists like Kevin Abstract and Tyler, the Creator.
Two years later, he released his debut album, Boy In Jeans, in 2018. It was released under Benny Blanco’s Mad Love Records imprint at Interscope and received critical acclaim for exploration of themes like sexuality, isolation and emotional honesty. His first album was followed by Dreaming of David in 2020 and Calico in 2023.
In 2024, Ryan Beatty contributed as a lyricist on four tracks on Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter. In a post on Instagram, he called writing the songs “one of the brightest highlights of my life on earth.” Protector, Bodyguard, Just For Fun, and II Hands II Heaven are some tracks to which he contributed.
