Tracy Tutor is joining the 16th season of the Bravo reality series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, according to her latest Instagram post. Tutor, 51, is a reality TV star, actress, author, and real estate broker/advisor/agent who has an estimated net worth of $50 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. She began:

“Well… the secret’s officially out. I’m joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and I could not be more excited for this next chapter. Beverly Hills is home. I’ve raised my girls here, built my career here, and now apparently, I’ve decided to let you all even further into my life.”

Tracy further wrote alongside a photo of herself clad in a brown co-ord:

“Excited? Very. Nervous? A little. Likely to get into some trouble? Absolutely. So, what’s left to say but, let’s f**king go.”

This is not the first reality series Tracy Tutor will appear in. In 2017, she joined the tenth season of another Bravo reality show, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, as the first female real estate broker. She later reappeared in season 15, which concluded in September 2024.

All about Tracy Tutor amid her new RHOBH gig

Tracy Tutor was born in Hidden Hills, California, in August 1975. She is the daughter of business tycoon Ronald Tutor and his wife Cheryl Osterkamp. Ronald is the CEO of Tutor Perini (formerly Tutor Saliba), one of the country’s leading building contractors.

Tracy grew up in a gated community about an hour northwest of downtown L.A. She was introduced to real estate at a young age because of her dad’s career, but didn’t take interest in it. Instead, she got herself a job selling suits at DJ’s Clothing for Men at the Northridge Mall. The family also raised horses in their backyard.

Ms Tutor graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts in 1997. That same year, she appeared in the movie Expose, followed by another one called No Vacancy in 1999.

“I wanted to act, to sing, and be on Broadway. Real estate was truly the furthest thing from my mind… I was auditioning all the time and losing every role,” she once told Business Insider.

In her twenties, Tracy Tutor also worked at her father’s company in the human resources department, but “hated every waking moment” of it. She took a real estate exam at 26, encouraged by a friend, before joining the firm Dalton, Brown, and Long.

Now, she is one of the top realtors for Douglas Elliman in Beverly Hills and has expanded the business in Texas, with offices in Dallas and Austin, and selling millions of dollars in real estate per annum. Her clientele includes Hollywood royalty, Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan, Edward Norton, and Janet Jackson.

The multihyphenate is a sales director at the Edition Hotel and Residences in West Hollywood and the U.S. Ambassador for Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences in Dubai.

Her website cites that Tracy has “consulted” for the five-star Amagiri property in Canyon Point, Utah, and helped with the sales of more than $400 million in “branded real estate.”

Tracy Tutor is the co-founder of the zero-sugar wine brand UN’SWEET and the best-selling author of the 2020 Wall Street Journal hit book, Fear Is Just a Four-Letter Word: How to Develop the Unstoppable Confidence to Own Any Room.

Tutor was married to residential contractor Jason Maltas from 2005 to 2018. They share two daughters, Julier and Scarlett. In a July 2020 episode of Justin Sylvester’s Just the Sip podcast, she revealed how her time on MDLLA “mirrored” her “decision” to divorce. Tracy explained:

“I didn't get divorced because I was on a reality show; I got divorced because I've been thinking about getting divorced for three years prior to that. And it took me that long to actually jump off the fence and do it… At that point, I was ready to make that decision and I think he was too. And I think looking back it was probably, even though he was so mad at me for wanting to do the show, the best decision for us.”

Tracy Tutor recalled thinking why people were judging her and calling her a “workaholic” and “crazy, career-obsessed woman”, when she had been “married longer than most people in this town.” However, despite all the criticism, what helped her through the phase was staying “authentic” to herself and her kids.

In 2022, Tracy briefly dated celebrity personal trainer Erik Anderson, 19 years her junior, before splitting as he wanted to have children in the future, while she did not. However, they have since maintained an amicable friendship.

The luxury broker not only sells homes to others but has also invested in her own real estate over the years. In 2009, she purchased a seven-bedroom Brentwood residence for $13.5 million, before putting it on the market a decade later for $23.9 million.

Since 2024, Tracy Tutor has also owned a Spanish-style property in Dallas, Texas, of which she is “passionate.” Back then, she told PEOPLE:

“Believe it or not, this is the first time I have lived alone. First, it was roommates, then boyfriends, moving on to husband, then husband and two kids, more boyfriends, but always dogs. It is refreshing to come home to my space there and it's exactly how I left it.”

According to Business Insider, Tracy Tutor’s childhood 3.5 acre childhood home was sold off to Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian in 2013. She is now looking forward to remodelling historic properties.

Earlier this year, the mother of two won the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Leader of Influence in Real Estate Award. Last December, she also launched a digital series, Mansions & Martinis, with her former MDLLA castmate Josh Flagg.

During a January 2023 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Tracy Tutor was asked whether she would consider joining the RHOBH cast, to which she replied:

“A hundred per cent. I know a lot of the women on the show, and I love them all… not equally. I think I could bring a little heat.”

According to Bravo, she already has past connections within the RHOBH fraternity, including a friendship with alum Kyle Richards’ estranged husband Mauricio Umansky and a public feud with former cast member Dorit Kemsley.

Prior to joining RHOBH, Tracy Tutor was busy documenting her single life, motherhood, and back-to-back cosmetic surgery procedures such as a brow lift, facelift, and neck lift on social media.
