Future has found himself in new legal trouble after his ex-girlfriend, Brittni Mealy, sued him over a child-related legal issue. According to TMZ reports, the rapper was asked to get life insurance worth half a million dollars in 2023 by the court for his son, Prince.
According to the plan, his ex-girlfriend, Brittni Mealy, was supposed to become the trustee and take care of the money for their son in case of any mishaps. While the exact year Future and Brittni Mealy started dating is not confirmed, the couple reportedly broke up in 2022. Their son, Prince, is approximately twelve years old.
Future is getting sued by ex-girlfriend Brittni Mealy

Future and his ex-girlfriend, Brittni Mealy, decided to co-parent their son, Prince, after the couple broke up. At that time, Future was asked to take out a life insurance policy worth $500k for their son with her name as a trustee on it. However, Future didn't hold the court order, for which she is demanding that the court send him to prison until he does so.
However, this is not the first time the couple has been facing legal troubles. Four years ago, Nayvadius DeMun Cash was asked by the judge to increase the earlier child support by $2k, which brought it to $5k.
The news of their split was announced by Brittni on her Instagram, where she said that she doesn't wish to date him again. She added that she has always cared for him deeply and tried her best to be kind, even when she felt he didn't treat her the same way. Another statement in the post read:
"This whole world calls me dumb, stupid, whatever but who cares? I have a genuine, unconditional, loving, forgiving heart. I am not mad, bitter, none of that. I left and finally begin to realize my worth (long overdue).” Since I’m clearing things I never been no gold digger none of that never!Anytime anyone seen us together it’s because it’s what he wanted and begged for! Good luck to anyone who thinks he is going to change."
At that time, Nayvadius DeMun Cash replied to her by saying:
"I'm so proud of you. You found happiness. Okay. One monkey don't stop a show. Never have."
As of now, neither the rapper nor Brittni has released any statement or talked publicly about the new legal case filed by her on their social media.
