A Texas social media influencer identified as Kandy Red Bread, known for his content centred on car customisations, was arrested on January 16 and has since been placed under heightened supervision. According to reports, this status is usually given to suspects who have tried to harm themselves or are believed to be in danger os similar behaviour.Kandy Red Bread was arrested for being accused of alleged sexual assault involving a two-year-old child. View this post on Instagram Instagram PostThe child's mother, who has chosen to remain anonymous, told KPRC 2 in an interview that she checked his phone because she felt something was wrong.“I’ve never went through his phone before, never, but his phone was right there, and I’m like, I just feel something’s not right.”The mother of the alleged victim called the police after she found a recording of the alleged sexual assault on his phone.She told ABC 13 in another interview:“She’s just a baby, like why would you do this to a baby, like how can you do this to her, how can you do this to me? I just keep seeing that video over and over in my head … I literally haven’t been able to sleep, I’ve just been crying so much lately.”Adding:“We both do need to seek therapy for sure. We’re going to try and get some help. Corey Paillet III, was arrested in his residence in Porter, Texas. The influencer who boasts over 60,000 Instagram followers was charged with Promotion of Child Pornography and Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, both first-degree felonies. On January 16, 2026, deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) responded to a residence in Porter, Texas, in reference to a sexual assault of a child investigation. Upon arrival, patrol units secured the scene and requested assistance from the MCSO Special Victims Unit (SVU).”The statement continued:“Following an extensive on-scene investigation and the execution of multiple search warrants, with assistance from the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office, SVU detectives obtained video evidence depicting the sexual assault of a 2-year-old child. The suspect was identified as 40-year-old Victor L. Corey Paillet I|l.”Kandy Red Bread was booked into jail and is being held with no bond.“Victor Paillet was arrested and charged with Promotion of Child Pornography and Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, both first-degree felonies. Paillet was booked into the Montgomery County Jail, where he is currently being held with no bond. Investigators have learned that Paillet has ties to the Houston area and Louisiana and may be known by the aliases ‘Kandy Red’ and ‘Kandy Red Bread.’”The statement concluded:“Based on information obtained during the investigation, detectives believe there may be additional victims.
