President Donald Trump is campaigning for the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, and made a stop in Michigan on October 25, 2026. There, he talked about a few things, but mostly about Sen. Jon Husted's behind.

Moreover, Donald Trump also made a crude comment about Nicki Minaj, which is being considered distasteful by netizens.

Donald Trump's comments about Sen. Jon Husted and Nicki Minaj

It is unusual for a president to compliment the physical features of senators during a campaign, but that's what Donald Trump has done recently. U.S. Sen. Jon Husted is running for election to the U.S. Senate representing Ohio in the 2026 United States Senate special election. Trump, in a recent campaign appearance, made comments about Sen. Husted's appearance.

As reported by Brut America, at the stop in Michigan, Trump complimented Husted's behind. He clarified that in the past, he has only looked at women's behinds and not that of men. Trump said:

"Women, yes, men, no, OK?"

Trump said all this in a humorous tone, and most of the attendees at the rally laughed. This is not the first time Trump has talked about Husted's behind. Moreover, he also believes that talking on this specific matter has helped Husted's chances at winning. As CNN reports, in an interview with Fox Business's Larry Kudlow, Trump was asked if his party could hang on to its majority.

In response, Trump did not address the question and instead began talking about Husted and how Trump's angle had increased his points. Trump said:

"He went up 14 points or something. And that was my rally. That was when I said, you know, the word, the A-word, and everyone said, ‘Oh, why is he talking about that?’ You know, they didn’t put the whole clip on. They just put — I looked at his body, I said, ‘Look at his strength in this guy. This is crazy.’"

Donald Trump then talked a bit more about how no one apparently understood why he had taken that angle, and ended his response by saying:

"But, uh, you know, it had a, uh, a tremendous impact."

Thus, Trump really thinks this is an important talking point that is helping Sen. Jon Husted. At the campaign stop in Michigan, Trump also made a crude comment about Nicki Minaj. Stating what he had seen recently, Trump said:

"one hell of a beautiful a**"

He then revealed who he was referring to, adding:

"Nicki Minaj."

Donald Trump also took a humorous approach when he made this crude comment, which earned laughs from the crowd. He ended the topic by saying:

"I hope Nicki wasn't insulted but we love Nicki. She's been with us for a long time."

Nicki Minaj is a vocal supporter of Donald Trump and has publicly endorsed and campaigned for him, including appearing with him at campaign events and rallies. She has also spoken at a United Nations event regarding Christian persecution in Nigeria on the administration's behalf.

It is unknown how Minaj might have taken Trump's comments, but netizens did not like his approach. The general public is of the opinion that it was inappropriate of Trump to talk about someone's behind like that at a rally, be it Husted or Minaj, when he could have addressed other serious topics instead.
