Mike Tyson's podcast set has a wooden heart hanging in the background, designed to look like his famous face tattoo. The piece was made by Ike Wynter, a Wisconsin wood artist who builds pieces from scrap.

Talking about the logo and his work for Mike Tyson, he told People in an exclusive interview:

"We actually designed a logo for the background of his podcast. Every clip that you see of him, it’s like a heart with his tattoo built into the heart made out of wood."

Wynter made the logo during his time with a nonprofit group that also worked on projects with famous names. The wooden heart has since become a familiar part of the background in many of the podcast's video clips.

Ike Wynter's journey into art began with wood rather than traditional artworks. According to People, he spent his childhood helping his father build house frames. In 2016, he began picking up pieces of unwanted wood left along the roadside and turning them into new creations. He later built a career around this work.

Speaking to People, Wynter revealed that he started sharing more of his work on TikTok when the platform grew in popularity and the COVID pandemic hit in 2020. One of his first videos to get a good response showed him making a piece for a customer and received around 73,000 views. He said he was amazed by the response, especially now that some of his videos have crossed fifty million views.

During this time, Wynter also got the chance to create a wooden artwork for Mike Tyson after the boxer's podcast team learned about his work. After the work for Mike Tyson was done, Ike Wynter also shared the logo on his Instagram with the caption:

"I had the privilege to create a custom piece for the one & only @miketyson recreating his Mike Tyson Cares Foundation logo out of wood! 🙏🏻 Super blessed & grateful for the opportunity to create this and send it out to him & his team!!"

Ike Wynter, alongside working for Mike Tyson, also created wooden versions of all thirty-two NFL team logos. The NFL came across Wynter's work on social media while looking for local artists for the 2025 draft, according to People. The collection took around 700 hours to complete and was displayed at the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay. Wynter, who grew up in Wisconsin, spoke about what the project meant to him.

Speaking to People, he said that since people order packages every day in today's materialistic society, he wanted to reuse things that were already around but were often seen as junk and turn them into art.

Speaking of the process, he added:

"When I would wake up at noon every day, I would read the feedback, we’d get on a quick FaceTime, and then I would have my plan for the entire night to build. I’d be like, oh, I’ll go and try to find a new color for this team, so let’s set that one aside, but tonight I’m going to work on these two teams. And it was just having that conversation with the NFL and working on these pieces every night was just mind-blowing."

One of the main challenges that he explained was matching each team's colors without using artificial paint. He had to sort through pieces of old furniture and scrap wood to find the right shades of colors. He revealed that he often worked through the night and sent pictures of his progress to the NFL team early in the morning so they could review the work when they got to the office. Wynter spent his nights working on the logos, and the collection was finished within two months.

Wynter has also worked with brands and teams like Crayola, the Milwaukee Brewers, Thursday Night Football, and Notre Dame, along with his work for the NFL and Mike Tyson. He has over 200k followers on Instagram, where he shares details about his projects. Additionally, he has his own website where he sells his artworks.

During his interview with People, he also revealed that he wants to work with Tony Hawk and Green Day in the future. He added that appearing on Good Morning America would be special to him as he grew up watching the show with his mother.
