However, the final trailer does not give viewers the opportunity to get a look at Ghidorah, which many fans think is a good decision. One fan commented under a Reddit post regarding the trailer that

“Wow no Ghidorah, they're really keeping his appearance hidden until the movie's release lol.”

Fans react to the absence of Ghidorah in Godzilla Minus Zero trailer

Though viewers do not get to see how Ghidorah looks in the Godzilla Minus Zero final trailer, there are snippets of Ghidorah’s power through the beams, which look similar to lightning energy. These snippets create an intense atmosphere, depicting the storyline as going to be intense. Fans have pointed out that choosing to keep Ghidorah hidden in the final trailer is a good decision, as it maintains the suspense.

Another fan pointed out that the absence of Ghidorah in the final trailer is “peak”. There have been immense speculations regarding the design that Ghidorah is going to have in this upcoming movie. The suspense that the trailer has created raises the anticipation of the viewers. Besides the snippets of Ghidorah’s power, the brutality and devastation that the characters are going to face are also depicted through the trailer.

The storyline of this upcoming movie will explore the Shikishima family’s situation after the events of the previous movie. The storyline is set two years after the first movie; that is, in 1949. Another fan pointed out that they enjoyed the “emotional beats” of the trailer along with how “it revealed little to nothing about the monsters”.

Besides the excitement surrounding Ghidorah’s arrival in Godzilla Minus Zero, many viewers have also pointed out the distinct visuals of the flashbacks that can be seen throughout the final trailer. One fan pointed out that,

“the flashback sequence with the doctor and the survivors of the Ginza attack has me the most excited. A different perspective of that same event showing the nationwide trauma this creature did in one day.”

Just as the first movie received immense positive responses from viewers for the depiction of the depth of the storyline, it can be expected that this movie will also be able to achieve a similar response. The trailer also creates anticipation regarding Noriko’s character, as she was able to survive the first attack.

The very talented Minami Hamabe brings life to Noriko’s character in the upcoming movie. Some of the other cast members of Godzilla Minus Zero are Yuki Yamada, Munetaka Aoki, Sae Nagatani, Kai Inowaki, Eita Okuno, etc.
