5 Characters Willow Can Still Turn to on General Hospital

The walls are closing in on Willow Tait as more General Hospital characters become her enemies. Willow destroyed her marriage by indulging in an extramarital relationship with Drew Cain. However, she later turned on Drew, shooting him twice in the back and then injecting him with paralytic drugs. To add to her problems, she escalated her custody issue with Michael Corinthos. Moreover, she made enemies of the Quartermaine family by trying to manipulate Harrison Chase.

Unwilling to give up her new political career as the congresswoman representing Port Charles, Willow made a pact with Drew after he recovered from his paralysis. As per their deal, they will never disclose each other’s crimes. However, that does not ensure Drew’s loyalty to Willow. Now, she is left with very few dependable allies in Port Charles, which includes her mother, Nina, her aunt, Liesl, and her friend, Elizabeth, among others.

1) Nina Reeves

It is a no-brainer that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has complete and unwavering support from her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). GH fans have seen Nina stand by Willow through all her mistakes and crimes. She tried to break up Willow’s affair with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). However, when Willow married him, she supported her decision.

Later, when Willow made Nina her accomplice in keeping Drew paralyzed, Nina followed through. Nina was also seen taking help from Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) in tampering incriminating evidence against Willow. Nina has proven that she will continue to help and assist Willow whenever she asks for it.

2) Harrison Chase

Despite being married to Brook Lynn after Willow cheated on him, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has shown his trust and devotion towards Willow. While Willow continues to manipulate him by pretending to be the victim, Chase sacrificed his career to help her beat those shooting charges. He believed everything Willow told him, including her insistence that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is the real shooter.

Now that Chase belives Brooke Lynn was the "other driver" in Jordan's accident, he may turn to Willow even more, but will he help her when he learns that she did worse than Brook Lynn, who did nothing? Knowing Chase, probably.

3) Liesl Obrecht

As part of her maternal family, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has a soft spot for Nina, which extends to Willow. Liesl even donated her bone marrow to Willow. While the doctor identified the change in Willow’s persona as her niece turned dark, she continued to stay protective of Nina and Willow.

Liesl is currently worried about the sudden and disgraceful passing of her son, Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey), and is caught up in the happy new life of her daughter, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). However, she is fiercely protective of family and may stand by Willow, if the congresswoman needs genuine help.

4) Elizabeth Webber

In her job as GH head nurse, Elizabeth befriended Willow when the woman of ever-changing careers spent some time as a nurse.

Through all this, Liz has maintained an honest friendship with Willow and looked out for her. She also offered Willow her home to stay in and attended Willow's wedding with Drew. Liz worried that some microorganism infestation at Willow’s house caused the unexplained coincidence of Drew and Jack both having their paralytic strokes there. She then alerted Willow about it. Willow knows that she can appeal to Elizabeth for assistance during trying times.

Since Willow considers her former husband, Michael, her enemy, and he is practically keeping her hostage in the Q gatehouse. Since Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is Michael’s adoptive father, looking at Sonny as an ally may seem like a paradox for Willow.

However, even through Willow and Michael’s messy divorce, and related custody battle, Sonny has always been kind and benevolent towards Willow. He had asked her to come to him if she ever needed help. Moreover, Drew is intent on targeting Sonny. Since Willow detests Drew, she may want to be part of Team Sonny.
