Recent revelations lead to emotional mayhem on General Hospital as every resident of Port Charles needs to choose sides. With evil WSB Director, Ross Cullum, dead, thanks to Agent Josslyn Jacks, while Britt’s Huntington’s secret and “Nathan’s” true identity exposed, the townspeople have too much information to process. While Vaughn returns to wrap things up, Josslyn makes a deal with Z to taint Cassius.
At the same time, Danny chastises his best friend, Rocco, for his father, Jason’s arrest. Elsewhere, more people have to make tough decisions in their choices regarding family drama and relationships.
5 treacheries that may have a long-lasting impact on General Hospital
1) Danny backstabbing Rocco

As the current storyline on General Hospital showed, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) learnt from Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) that his best friend, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), was the WSB Director’s real shooter for which Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was arrested. A livid Danny confronted Rocco and wanted him to reveal the truth and surrender himself.
However, Rocco shared his agony but refused to confess since forbidden by his parents. Desperate to get justice for his father, Danny is approaching Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) at Turning Woods. Danny is likely to disclose that Rocco is the actual culprit. Since Rocco has a prior record of being in juvenile prison, things may turn ugly if Brennan plans to move on this disclosure. With Rocco and Danny’s friendship permanently fractured, the arcs of the teenagers will likely take them away in different directions.
2) Brook Lynn framing Willow

General Hospital fans witnessed Congresswoman Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) taking advantage of the trust that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has on her. While Chase thinks Willow is a victim of circumstances, the latter has been using him to her benefit. On one hand, she is making moves on Chase while on the other she is leaving him indebted by helping with Phoebe’s adoption.
However, Chase’s wife, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), has caught a whiff of Willow’s scheme. As such, she collaborated with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to tamper with the travel log in Willow’s vehicle. Moreover, as arranged, Lucy visited the PCPD to drop hints about Willow traveling on route-91 during Jordan’s (Tanisha Harper) accident. Based on Lucy’s complaint, the police department has started investigating. If Chase gets a hint that Willow was framed, he may blame Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) or Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), putting strain on his marriage.
3) Josslyn betraying Cassius

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) survived the final showdown on Spoon Island. As Z (John Oliver) informed her that both Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Cassius (Ryan Paevey) are dead, he urged her to control the narrative to save WSB from defamation. Recognizing an opportunity to make a deal, General Hospital's Josslyn negotiated both Valentin's (James Patrick Stuart) and Jason’s releases.
In return, believing Cassius dead, Josslyn offered to give a statement that he was behind the violence and all sinister plans. She also agreed to paint Cullum as the sacrificial hero who died saving the world from Cassius. This will likely make Cassius’s mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), her enemy. Moreover, people in town know that Cullum was the evil brain behind all the killings. They will likely not take kindly to Josslyn’s WSB cover-up. This may taint Joss as the backstabber, while Obrecht may plan revenge.
4) Dante trapping Britt

As General Hospital fans already know, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) have not forgiven Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Theibaud) past mistakes. As such, when Rocco skipped town with Britt, his parents blamed the doctor for kidnapping him. They tracked Rocco and brought him back. But Dante had Britt arrested on charges of abduction.
When Rocco questioned Dante, the latter placated that this was best for Britt’s safety. However, when Britt pleaded with Dante to drop the charges, the commissioner refused to do so. He continued to blame Britt for all her problems, giving it a personal vendetta angle. This situation will have a long-standing impact. On one hand, Rocco may continue to feel guilty about Britt’s predicament, and his personal life will be affected. On the other hand, when Jason returns to town, the differences between Dante and Jason may turn into enmity over Britt’s imprisonment.
5) Cassius assisting Z

General Hospital viewers witnessed Cassius shot at by Cullum on Thursday, July 2, 2026, before being shot down by Josslyn himself. In the next episode, Z informed Josslyn that both Cullum and Cassius were dead. Based on this information, Josslyn agreed to change her narrative and make Cassius the fall guy. However, in a surprising twist, Monday’s episode, dated July 6, 2026, found Z visiting a recuperating Cassius in a secret room.
Z proceeded to instigate Cassius by informing him about Josslyn’s statement blaming Cassius for everything. He then offered the rattled Cassius the choice between being given the death penalty or working with Z in secret. Expectedly, Cassius may choose the second option. Z may use Cassius as the hidden trump card, just like Cullum had used him. Whether the WSB Head employs Cassius as an agent in the organization remains to be seen. However, believing that Josslyn is betraying him deliberately, Cassius may want to retaliate, betraying everyone he knows.
